Eastleigh is in Hampshire, England, and the main town in the Borough of Eastleigh. The town lies between Southampton and Winchester, and is part of the South Hampshire conurbation. The first substantial growth was as a railway town. Now it is home to many businesses, including a manufacturing plant owned by Prysmian Cables & Systems (formerly the cables division of Pirelli). The town lies on the River Itchen, one of England's premier chalk streams for fly fishing, a designated site of Special Scientific Interest.

one of our favourite true Italian restaurants, The food is always excellent..the meat so tender and tasty, the soup and the "naughty" desserts..just before. Christmas ..what more could you ask for.
This all served so professionally by such caring staff.
Thank you all such memorable start to Christmas.

A traditional Indian restaurant serving all the classical favourites with a modern twist. The restaurant is located in a beautiful Hampshire village, a short distance from Winchester.
We visited on a Sunday evening. We had to move tables twice. The restaurant was so so cold. It spoilt our evening. We told the management twice that our party was cold. They didn’t seem bothered. We feel the quality of the food has gone downhill. This is the second time we have been for the buffet and both times the food is lukewarm and not plentiful. Very disappointed for the price. I doubt we will visit again.

Been here a few times now, at every visit I have been served amazing tasty food by the most friendly, professional, attentive staff, who make you dining experience feel special. This is only a small restaurant and has a cosy welcoming atmosphere without feeling cramped or over crowded. I would recommend to anyone in the area, resident or visitor.

Old English pub serving good quality home cooked food. Friendly waitress service. Dogs welcome. Family friendly.
We came here for dinner on a Saturday evening. The pub is just ouside Eastleigh on a little country road. The setting is lovely, and the pub inside is very cosy. The menu is a slight step up on the usual pub food, and is...MoreThank you so much for your review, we appreciate you taking the time out to post one! Kind regards Karen

The Bugle Inn is an 18th Century coaching inn located 2 miles from the Historic city of Winchester. Soon to be taken back to its original inn status with B&B rooms opening in January 2014. The Bugle inn is famous for it's locally sourced organic produce, daily changing menu & very locally brewed real ales. The Bugle inn is a training ground for young chefs to develop the skills required for British/French cuisine.
We booked a table for 18.30 on a Thursday and were pleased to find several places in the pub's car park. (The restaurant is so popular that you sometimes have to park far up the lane to the right of the pub). I have always liked there dining room, with its wooden floor, wooden tables and sensibly subdued lighting. The tables were decorated with candles and sweet-smelling white grape hyacinths. I started with mussels in white wine sauces. They were plump and extremely fresh, with a good amount of wine-based liquor at the bottom of the mussel pan. My wife enjoyed her baked camembert dish. She continued with a starter portion of crab, avocado and prawn salad. It was served in a traditional prawn cocktail cup, but best eaten tipped onto a plate. My main was a fillet of Stone Bass in a crab, mussel and potato sauce. Again the fish was beautifully fresh and cooked perfectly. The service was as efficient and friendly as always, with our views on the dishes sought. I had a pint of their very tasty Flowerpot ale, from nearby Cheriton. We enjoyed our evening.

Italian Family Run Restaurant Since 1983.
V Friendly staff . Very good atmosphere. Agem of a place you might not expect in such an unattractive area . Very reasonably priced. The house wine was good. The fresh seafood ravioli was excellent. The chicken dish in a cream sauce was also very good. Bravo

We visited this weekend for my sons birthday. We booked a table online and had to phone and confirm as we hadn’t received a confirmation email like the website suggests.
The staff and service is excellent and the the restaurant warm and comfortable. We had first round of drinks on the house as a special offer for booking on the website.
The poppadoms were nice and came out very quickly after the drinks. We then all had onion bhajis. I have had them before with take away and have always put them as one of my favourite to order from. However on this occasion most of them were over cooked, so we were left feeling disappointed. We each had a curry; they were nice enough but nothing to get excited about. The cheese and coriander naan was lovely!
I think personally I missed the little touches that you get in a more traditional Indian restaurant like the candle lit hot plates.
I would happily visit again if invited with friends or family.

EXCELLENT FOOD, REASONABLY PRICED AND A BOOTLEGGERS TALE
Remember the film ‘Whiskey Galore’? Well The Otter was accidentally home to a similar spree only this time based on a surfeit of free brandy.
Their menu carries the full story which would definitely make a great films script: but more than that, and apart from its unique history, here’s an eating house offering superb quality cuisine, and managing to do it within an extremely reasonably price range. The Otter features a regular changing menu with as many as possible ingredients sourced locally whenever possible by using such suppliers as Owtons of Chalcroft Farm, L.J Smith (Family Butcher) of Bishopstoke and the Hampshire Farmers Market in Winchester.
The restaurant is based within the 300 year old public house which is, naturally, full of character and has been run by the Knott family for over 20 years. Pauline, their proprietress, makes a point of mentioning that: “Our blackboard menu changes daily, reflecting seasonal produce, supplier recommendations and the great British weather!”
HAVE A GIN FLING!
Apart from the fine quality meals, they also have a fascinating speciality which they term ‘The World of Gin’. This offers around 20 odd drink combinations based on Gin but with exotic descriptions such as, and I quote, one called Edinburgh RHUBARB & GINGER consisting of a sweet tangy rhubarb punch on the nose followed by lemon zest, paired with elderflower tonic or on the rocks - you decide.
They cater successfully for various allergies including, I am pleased to say, Ceoliac sufferers. This meant that my wife for once was able to enjoy an hearty meal without fear of nasty side effects common to such sufferers.
I could go on but really the only way to experience their culinary delights is to visit them. They are in Otterbourne, a small but pretty village about 5 miles from the historic City of Winchester and less than a mile from the M3.
To sum up, they offer a great variety of beers, fantastic food and warm and friendly service - what more could you want? Ah yes, the brandy (but this time it will cost you!).

It is turkish restarant and wine bar
Having never tried Turkish food before I was quite dubious about the visit. It was very misplaced.
The restaurant was very welcoming, warm and beautifully decorated.
The staff were very helpful, especially considering our party size of 18, and the amenities more than satisfactory.
The food was absolutely delicious. Seasoned, perfectly cooked and a wonderful insight/taste of the Turkish cuisine. It came out in a timely fashion and very hot.
Overall, a gorgeous experience and one I'd highly recommend.

My husband and I visited for a pre-Valentines meal and had a lovely evening. We both had steak which was cooked perfectly and was delicious and followed this with the trio of puddings which again was delicious. The service was spot-on with Gemma, our waitress, being really friendly and super attentive. We would highly recommend The Hut.
