I rated this restaurant with excellent because of their value for money.
The restaurant is located in the heart of Düren. a few steps away from the Market Square and Town Hall.
It's not only a restaurant, also a pub. Or if you want, the other way around.
They serve typical German dishes.
Food is good, the quantities are also very good.
Do not expect 'haute cuisine', because this is not what you are paying for.
Expect to get a refreshment for 1.4 euro or half a lithe Weissbeer for 2.8 euro.
Expect well prepared dishes for about 10 euro (or less, or slightly more for a steak).

Good Italian food, fresh, well prepared and great wine to match! The child pizza was made according to the wishes of the child and a size that could be managed!

Super leckeres Essen, schnell bedient, große Portionen und sehr freundliche Bedienungen, was heute ja nicht mehr normal ist. Gemütlich und sehr gepflegt eingerichtet, hat zwar Imbiss- Stil, nur das Essen ist einfach klasse, weil es frisch zubereitet wird und hat Restaurant Niveau. Die Fritten super lecker und eine große Auswahl.Wir sind oft in Düren und kommen immer wieder gerne zum Essen....

This little family owned steak house is a must if you are visiting Duren.The buffet salad bar selection is just wonderful. The steaks are cooked just perfect.I chose a 200g Fillet steak served with Mushrooms/baked potato or Chips or rice.The salad bar mentioned above is free and theSteak was €20.The place is defiantly on my list to visit on my next trip to Duren.

e' un ristorante italiano gestito da tre fratelli siciliani.
Si può scegliere tra carne, pasta e pizza.
Noi abbiamo preso bruschette, antipasti e pizza.
Prodotti sicuramente italiani ma forse preparati per far contenti i tedeschi. Pizza migliorabile.
Potrebbero fare meglio ma per essere a due passi da Colonia va bene così.

Visited Das BrauHaus for an evening meal on a Friday. Restaurant was not too busy and we were seated straight away.
Food was tasty, German Fayre and all very fresh.
Waiter was very helpful with our poor attempts at German!
Would eat here again if in the area.

The Generatione II is a very small italian foodplace with a small selection of dishes on the menu, but this is, as often, all for the best. The also have a very good daily selection of stuff and are always happy to explain everything to you. Food quality is very good, staff was very friendly and helpful. You should, however, plan on reserving in advance in the evenings or on weekends are as a large group in general. Food prices are a little bit higher but well worth the quality you get. Highly recommanded.

The restaurant is superb! Apart from the great atmosphere and excellent service, the food is also magnificent. I had the salmon with pesto sauce, asparagus and baby potatoes and it was delicious! The different flavours were expertly combined, the serving size was sufficient , and the presentation of the dish was beautiful. My friends were also beyond pleased with their dishes.
I would highly recommend it.
