This place looks a typical average French bistro, with a sort of glass lean-to to make it bigger inside. It looks nothing special, and we would not have gone here, except that we were recommended to go here by an exceptional restaurant - Glazicks at Plomodiern.
The food here was really good. It is not expensive, the fish was fantastically fresh and nicely cooked, and the fixed price menu was really good value for money. Really glad we came here.

l'Oceanic came highly recommended and so we headed there for dinner one evening. The restaurant was well-attended & constantly busy.
The menu offers a predominantly Italian/French choice of food, plus a wide range of pizza. The rack of lamb, veal escalope & pizza were all good. The rump steak, however, was a fatty, stringy disappointment & not to be recommended.
We enjoyed a decent bottle of individual Montepulciano, sampled a number of desserts, and gave the Irish coffee, served inventively in a champagne-style flute, top marks!
A decent evening with pleasant staff in a clearly popular & successful local venue

The crepes and galettes at the Moulin Du Chat are tasty, generous in portion size and also inventive. I enjoyed the Bretonne galette which had a very generous portion of scallops, shallots and samphire. Delicious! Then we both had the caramel with rum soaked raisins and vanilla ice cream for a desert crepe and we both agreed it was the best ever. The owners are friendly and attentive. The bill was very reasonable for such excellent fare. Seek these guys out and you won't be disappointed. Will definitely be back.

Just outside Morgat you can easily miss this little gem. On the main road into Morgat The a L'Ouest is a small family run tea room/restaurant. Homemade cakes, fresh coffee and too many teas to list the restaurant offers a very friendly service and atmosphere. Many of the cakes are heavily influenced by the family's routes in England. The Bakewell tart for example was fantastic and would certainly give those a run for their money back in Derbyshire. During the Summer the restaurant offers a brunch menu with a mix of French and English delicacies. I know you don't go to France for an English fry-up but trust me and try it! Regular visitors to the area this has become a firm favourite with our family. Friendly hosts delightful surroundings this well worth a visit. See you there!

Why would you eat crepes in a strip mall or other mundane location when you can have really good crepes on a cliff side restaurant looking across one of France's most beautiful bodies of water? We're talking about the Crozon peninsula, and this off-the-beaten-track creperie, whose existence we only discovered this week, though it's been here for at least ten years. Nestled in a pasture (land side), and overlooking the bay of Douarnenez, it offers an excellent choice of crepes and cider (and other dishes/drinks if you're so inclined). Friendly, rapid service too, and yes - sparkling toilets to boot. We chose to eat inside on a windy evening, but they have a lovely Terrace too. Really, a place we'll return to.

New owners ! Brittany Creperie La Bolée, inside and outside Terrace overlooking the sea, first floor , with view in the sea. Salted and sweet crêpes made with organic flour. Specialities , trout from Térénez, sea scallops with apple liquor, provençal style prawns. "Amuse gueule", a very special starter. Hot and spicy apple juice. And some french cold cut and cheese plates. Happy hours everyday from 4pm to 7pm
We enjoyed the crepes, especially the bacon and cheese with egg.. Service was fast, the coffee was excellent, the bacon was crisp, and the prices were reasonable.

Old stone house, like a return to another time, wooden tables and brick exterior by the beach of Le Fret. Crepes varied and excellent, cooked right in front of tables, clean and very "Britanny" menu. Popular in the area it seemed as per clients around.

Great restaurant in a fabulous setting right on the front. We sat by the window on the Terrace which looks out over the beautiful bay of Morgat. Staff were lovely it was just a shame that both our steaks were really tough although when we complained they were very good about it. Our starters were really nice and the pizzas look great.
