Boulevard de Marseillais is not the most glamour street of Abidjan. Le Grand Large atmosphere is not
the warmest. Prices are not the lowest. But this fish and seafood restaurant is a very good restaurant. Marine decor is stylish, service is professional, it's fine cuisine.
I was back in Abidjan after a long time, I had my first dinner Le Grand Large. Lobster and grapefruit salad, grouper steak, fruit soup and white sancerre, it was all good.

A lot of pre-starters is not always a good idea, but obviously very popular here. Service was well tutored but a massive mistake with a main course made the evening an unfortunate and disappointing experience. Having asked that, on account of the many pre starters laid out and a bottle of pro secco ordered because individual glasses were not possible, our choices for the main course could be slowed down, what appears to have happened was that the courses were cooked, then reheated and served when we indicated that we were ready for them. In the case of a spaghetti vongole this is a really bad mistake. We were not in a hurry, as we kept saying, but we were presented with two inedible dishes as main courses when presumably they would have been fine when served at the time of their choosing rather than ours. A promising start was therefore ruined by the uncomfortsblr knowledge that someone had let the dessicated microwaved dishes go out without stopping them on quality grounds What a pity. Not at all what we were expecting from a bill of nearly 200 euros for two, and without dessert or coffee. Sorry but we are not coming here again, Our next wedding anniversary will have to be somewhere else.

Chez Georges is an Abidjan institution and has consistently excellent food and service. Though their location in Plateau is a bit inconvenient for dinner, I assure you that it is well worth the trip.
Try their daily specials, including their tender Argentinian beef, which makes frequent appearances.

Very popular and reputable "Mom, Pop (and Son)" restaurant. The restaurant is located on a busy road (Boulevard de Marseilles) in the Bietry/Zone 4 neighbourhood. It faces the lagoon opposite the refinery with a great view (further enough to avoid anything potentially unpleasant) The staff is professional and will happily provide assistance choosing special items from the diverse menu of traditional Lebanese delicacies.
You will find the big classics (Mezzes, Kebe Naye, Taboule, Fatoush, Chawarma, Manaish, lemon chicken wings, Lamb kafta etc...). Save space for mint tea and fabulous Deserts!

This was an excellent experience. Imaginative dishes with new tastes and well cooked and served. A good restaurant to come to for an unusual and modern aspect. Its a good formula.

I definitely recommend going here for the same order that we made, fried dorade, grilled Carpe, alloco and grilled chicken. The sauce tomat and pima is great. Attieke goes with everything!
Not expecting much we took a chance based on their web presence. Definitely not the most Sanitary environment, but the food was extremely gratifying and lost in the taste sensation you'll kind of forget where you are....

I would love to say that this restaurant is excellent as I went there with a lot of expectations. However, I think the food is just avarage. Yes I admit that atmosphere is very nice and even the service is cool bot I wouldn't say...Moresorry that you found our restaurant only "average"...

Just before we started to think that there is no place to have some good food in Plateau we came by this place completely by chance. It has a nice terrasse and tasteful decoration. Creme brulee and espresso were both very good.
