We have been here regularly with our grandchildren. This time we had our grandsons aged 7 and 9 with us and we were all very satisfied with the food and service. We had starters of garlic bread, fries and bruschetta, all of which were excellent. Our pizzas were very slightly overcooked but still went down a treat. The glass of pinot noir I ordered was not available but everything else was fine.

The site Barchetta now stands on has been serving refreshments to the locals and tourists for almost 50 years. First as a kiosk where children could get ice creams and beach-goers cold drinks and snacks. It then evolved into the North Cott Cafe and was "the" place for breaky by the beach. It became Barchetta in 2002 and now has a flourishing food, wine and coffee trade lasting from dawn until dusk.
This is one cafe that keeps up its commitment to providing quality food, great service and awesome views. Went there Sunday afternoon and was able to book a table. Choice of table indoors or on the deck facing the ocean. Just the best experience. Many thanks all.

On a stunning Perth summer day we enjoyed a seafood platter at this iconic restaurant
Service was quick, cold and hot shared platter was quite generous but I thought the fish in the taco was over crumbed and tough
Deliscious side of roast pumpkin and the garlic bread tasty and unique
Haven’t been here for years but the tranquil calm of the river location makes up for anything Nice memories

Like many popular eateries, Galileo likes to get you in and out very quickly. If you book early, as we did, expect to be shuffled out within 2 hours. That said, it was worth it.The food was great - except the side dishes. We wanted green vegetables - do not go there. Pretty rubbish really. There is a lack of simple greenery so go for the fabulous meats and pasta.

Perched above the sand dunes of the famous Cottesloe Beach, The Blue Duck is an iconic restaurant that has uninterrupted, panoramic views over Rottnest Island and the Indian Ocean. This busy restaurant is the heart of the local community and the place to go for those in the know. With its relaxed atmosphere and friendly professional service, it's the place to enjoy a coffee or just a glass of champagne. Catch up with friends and watch a glorious sunset over a turquoise ocean enjoying dinner with a beer or bottle of wine.
The Blue Duck has always had one of the best views of any restaurant we have enjoyed. That and the excellent service haven't changed. However, the food and coffee have both improved. The food, in particular, is more interesting, enjoyable and better presented. My Turkish eggs were excellent!
We will be back and now will also pleasantly anticipating the food.

I was taken to Chez Pierre by family and now been back a second time as it is a gem of a restaurant.
I can see why it has stood the test of time and it is obvious that most of the diners (and the place is usually full) are regular customers.
The ambiance is very welcoming with the lighting and music at just the right levels and the décor tasteful.
The service is outstanding. Friendly, polite, prompt and attentive which makes you feel right at home.
The food is the star of the show though. There is a good variety and reasonably priced for French fine dining.
But the quality and flavours are fantastic. The meats are perfectly cooked, the portions just right and the sauces are just perfect.
There really is nothing I could fault here.
Both times I have been watching the private dining room which holds about 12 to 20 people, so thinking of my next special occasion to make use of it.
I am now a big fan of Chez Pierre and hoping to make it a regular stop.

We spent a day at Cottesloe and started with breakfast here. Ended up going back for dinner. The huge winner here is the staff- happy friendly and really professional. The food was excellent and the wine list amazing. Not super cheap but it was a public holiday so we expected to pay more. We'd go back in a heart beat.

We found this place a few minutes walk from Cottesloe beach. We went there with my 2.5 year old son,the staff was really friendly and brought some paper and crayons to keep him busy while we waited for our food.
The cappuccino was really good, my wife had the muesli and I have the John lots (big breakfast) and both were good.
I wish they had a kids menu for breakfast but we ordered egg and toast for my son and he enjoyed it.
Overall it was good, nice little neighborhood street cafe.

Came here for a weekend dinner with family and quite enjoyed ourselves.
The service was good, not too pushy. The waitress had some good suggestions that really helped. The kitchen was quick, even for a busy Saturday night.
Overall the food was really quite nice - nothing 'special' but then nothing wrong either.
We will return.
