Walking the streets of Leba there are plenty of people, souvenir shops and pizza/kebab restaurants. This place was like a calm area of peace and quiet.
Lucky for us the indoor Seating was full when we arrived (reservation is recommended if you want indoor seating), and we got to sit outside on the patio with a wonderful view of the beach and the sunset. Service was very polite and accurate.
We had Chateaubriand that was cooked according to our requests and very nicely presented on well filled plates. Limited choices on wine sold per glass, but the house wine was good, and the bottles aren't really expensive either.

Nice cozy restaurant in a small village. You wouldn't expect such nice place here. The places breathes quality with a lounge waiting room for guests, carpet on the floor, well dressed staff and a tasteful interior. The menu offers polish classics as well as a good wine list. We went two times to this place, once for lunch, once for dinner. The food was both times good; not exceptional but good. Price-quality relation is definitely good. The portions are huge, staff is friendly, atmosphere relaxed. The only thing that really bothered us is the lack of etiquettes / knowledge from the staff: plates are taken away while position of fork-knife were clearly indicating that we're not done yet. Plates are anyway taken away literally within seconds after one finished, while others at the table are still eating. Half full tea cups were taken. We asked to pack leftover from one of us, which was done instantly and brought in a plastic bag to the table, while some at the table were still enjoying their main dish. Etc.. They should know better in such place. A training for the staff wouldn't hurt. It would make the experience so much better.

As a group, we were served various dishes ordered from menu. All people were satisfied and full - servings were so big!
Staff was caring, not really professional like in high level restaurant, but you felt like in their home, their dining room, surrounded by their care.
Enjoyable place.

The location of this venue is fantastic. The renovated watermill. refurbish and adopted as a eatery with many bigger and smaller rooms and three terraces, with the view on the river. Lovely and idyllic. The food appeared good, especially the meals based on the local recipes. Also prices are moderate and acceptable. In the weekends it`s necessary to book the table. The only drawback was quite poor service. The waitress was nice, but unprofessional. The soups were not hot and the dishes were served in a wrong sequence. In spite of this, very recommended address.

We visited a couple of times whilst staying in Leba - once mid-morning for a cup of coffee (had a "kawa z ekspresu", which was of good quality, if a tad too strong), and once in the late evening for a peppermint tea (Twinnings, nice pot). The service was prompt and attentive, lovely setting by the canal, you can watch the tourist boats come in. Comfortable Seating and nice toilet facilities too.
The reason for 4* and not 5 is that we haven't tried any of the cakes or Deserts - but they all looked delicious.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful manor house, formerly belonging to the local German landowner, then repurposed as a collective farm by Poland's post-war Communist government of Poland and recently tastefully restored.
Tables inside and in a manicured back garden with trees, lawns and neat boxwood topiary. Polite and attentive waiter, decent food, mostly traditional Polish dishes like rosół, fish or duck with dumplings and some salads. Nice desserts (cakes, meringues, ice cream).
We met up with a friend and ended up spending more than two hours, chatting and soaking up the atmosphere, while our two boys played football on the back lawn with other kids.
A very relaxing stop on your way to the Polish coast.

Located close to the harbor, Chata Rybacka (Fisherman's Hut) offers a great selection of fresh, well prepared and served fish. I do recommend to choose one of grilled one and accompany it with a good wine or local beer.
Perfect, quick and attentive service.
I have visited the place already twice and it was a perfect choice.

We went to this place twice for dinner while in Leba. Tasty starters, can recommend both the fish soup and the cold herrings. But also their mains were not bad at all, especially anything prepared with fish. Furhtermore, they have an extensive cocktail menu, I managed to get a particularly refreshing one based on Wodka and Apple juice.
The service is friendly and swift, the only drawback was that on our second visit the mains were already arriving when we hadn't yet finished the starters.

Polecam

The Szlacheckie Gniazdo is an excellent restaurant in Kopalino serving lovely Polish food, plus pizzas and other things. Portions are good sized and the prices are very good value. There is a small children's play area outside and a bandstand where they have occasional live music.
Try the steaks, venison, boar, royal kebab or rabbit in cream sauce. Soups are good as well. Try the wild mushroom or Zurek. They also have a large selection of nice Polish beers as well as wines and spirits.
The Szlacheckie Gniazdo also has rooms and a group of holiday homes over the road that can be hired.
It is advertised on boards for miles in all directions outside Kopalino itself.
