I'm not a soba expert but would say the food was good. Nothing that was WOW! But a good meal and very inexpensive. Guess I just may not know how to add flavor to the soba as they had different chilli powder and spicy juice that you may add. The workers were amazing!! Very polite and nice. Not a lot of options which made ordering easy.

Great for date night and for business. We loved the beautiful sunset, wonderful beef with butter sauce, and amazing virgin mojito (celebrating Lent). This is a cozy place with good service, can be very busy so make Reservations choosing either patio or inside. We took business clients there last night and they loved it too.
Only suggestion for this establishment is to try reupholstering furniture - a good problem as I know your busy.

An amazing menu of the wildest concoctions of ice creams you could imagine. Whether you want to eat any.... some are good others are Asian taste only.

We went to this restaurant in the recommendation of the Hilton Hotel that we were staying in. What I didn't realise about Okinawa is that it is heavily influenced by the large American airbase there, so there is a lot of American style food and fusion food. We were looking for something which was truer to the country we were in.
The restaurant doesn't look like much, fairly basic, but the staff were very helpful and friendly. Menus have English translations. Were were first seated at a table where we sat on the floor, which was ok for a while, but our older knees and hips protested after a while. The staff seeing us moving around a bit trying to find a comfortable spot, then told us a table was a available in the area where the tables are low, but there is a sunken area for your feet. Much more comfortable for us, but it was fun to try the low table.
We ordered our food gradually by the plateful, which I believe is the correct way to order in Japan. It also means you food is always nice and hot. The food was very tasty and well prepared. Try the gyoza , they are wonderful. We also tried an amazing fried fish, tempura, pork and chicken, all very enjoyable. The guys drank beer and local sake which they enjoyed very much.
The meal was very reasonably priced also.

Place was empty and so was my belly. We ordered cheeseburgers. They were huge and great tasting. Nothing to write home about but very filling. Was it worth the price, maybe since we were catered to and the decor and atmosphere was wonderful. It’s a place to go on special occasions with friends, drink eat and laugh. Not an every week place.

Been there since 1972 http://r.gnavi.co.jp/fl/en/f066900/
Appreciating that it was Mothers Day rang ahead to secure a table. Politely told that given the Day, they were not taking books, just walk ins. Risked it and arrived at 6.30, pleasantly surprised to find a 'first come first served' ticketing system, which efficiently & fairly dealt with all. Was not disappointed, the service, the wine & the steaks were fabulous despite how busyness!

From the feedback here in Tripadvisor we went hunting for Somchai while we were on vacation in Okinawa. My wife (who is Thai) loved their tom yam soup and the Thai dishes here. Richard runs a nice family run restaurant and we enjoyed his cooking. They close pretty earlier around 7.30-8 pm so head there earlier for dinner - don't miss out this Thai diner if you are in the area.

A visiting business friend and I went for breakfast on a weekend before he had to fly off island. I had the Extra Thick Bacon with French Toast and he had the Lean Bacon breakfast. Both meals came with 2 eggs (ordered scrambled) and oven 'fired' potatoes. The meals were delicious and the service was friendly and prompt. The coffee was unlimited an excellent for a local restaurant. Prices were very reasonable and a good value for the quality and quantity of food provided. the meal lasted until dinner.
I'm going again.

The wife and I love Indian food and after trying several restaurants near us, we both agree Bollywood Dreams and Bollywood Jewel are our favorites in the area. Sometimes the customer service is iffy, and the atmosphere can be a little distracting with Indian music videos playing on the TVs around the room, but the food is amazing and they have delicious vegetarian options as well.
