The Fishermans Wharf isn’t Just a restaurant; it is the Ultimate culinary destination. Here, we blend great food, impeccable service, and a fantastic atmosphere to create the perfect dining experience for you. Since 2005, Fisherman’s Wharf Goa has captured the tastes of the multi cultural Goan Community with the best authentic Goan cuisine. The original sea food multi cuisine restaurant is located on the banks of River Sal in the South of Goa. Building on the success of the restaurant in Goa, the founder company decided to take the venture to the next level, and showcase their Brand, the Pride of Goa, to other parts of India and further. The menu offered is an ode to the jewels of the sea, cooked with zest typical of the Goan kitchen. There’s King Prawn Recheado, the spicy Prawn Balchao, Pomfret in butter garlic sauce, and the classic Goan Prawn Curry with Rice. Guests can get acquainted with the complex nuances of Xacuti, or dig into Chicken Cafreal and Goan Poi or Pao. And try out our authentic Goan dessert as one would not miss out on the freshly made bebinca. To cater to all its guests from around the world and for those who don’t count seafood as a favourite, there’s more that the Wharf serves. There are Asian favourites and Indian signatures, so you could team a Sichuan Fried Rice with Chicken Tikka if you wish. Continental and Mediterranean options make an appearance on the menu as well.
Everything about this place is charming, romantic and magical. we had a problem with finding riverside seats as inspite of a 100 requests, they did not accommodate us saying that guests have booked the riverside tables. we said that we will move once the guests come but the staff chose to leave the 1-2 tables empty for more than an hour rather than let us sit there for a while. it was our anniversary and I do think they could have let us sit for a while rather than leave the table empty for so long. What was the point?
the overall ambience is very very nice, the live music, the cocktails and the food, all were flawless.. it is very to lose yourself in the charm of this place and feel free and happy. thumbs up for all of this.

Octima Restaurant + Bar situated in Cavelossim Village offers traditional goan cuisine plus international cuisine i.e. chinese, tandoori, continental, comprehensive range of cocktails. Live music is offered every Wednesday and Friday Octima's Restaurant also offers a guest house offering three en suite bedrooms at economical rates.
Just past the Goan village restaurant down past Mikes is this little gem. Lovely lady who owns it comes out and has a chat with you. We had catch of the day with a couple of curries and naan breads. All was delicious. Red wine was good as were the Black Russian cocktails! Would definitely recommend this restaurant and another important small point the toilets are very good. Plus a large screen in there should you be interested in football. We will be returning.

Twice weekly, there's live music from Graham (ex UB40) creating a good atmosphere and dancing. The food was average.

One of a number of restaurants on this little but busy street. Menu is a little limited compared to others but the food was good, hot and well prepared. Prices were ok and the beer was cold.

Set on the beautiful beach of Mobor, just outside Cavelossim, beachside of holiday inn. Fantastic views of the Arabian ocean. Watch sunset from the comfort of the shack or dip your toes into the warm sea. All diets catered for, just tell the waiter your needs. Specialist in seafood, Goan and international cuisine. Have a cocktail delivered to your Free sunbed. Peace on earth!
We had a meal here while we were researching the river trip (which days excellent). It was pretty average really. Desultory staff and decent but uninteresting food. The lunch on the boat trip outshone the restaurant. Do the boat....

Blue Whale is an ok beach shack ... though its beach is lovely. choose a nice seat with sea view and the breeze. order some naan, beer and goan fish/prawns... and just dig in for the day.

Good food at a reasonable price and friendly atmosphere.
If you like fish, try the "fish and chips".
it's made with kingfish which is a large fish of the mackerel family and is delicious. However a word of caution. The portion is large so consider sharing between 2.
The curries here also seem to have a better balance of meat and veg than seems to be common in the restaurants.

Great restaurant, just outside the main village, only a few minutes walk away.
If we were not on the beach having our evening meal we were here. The food is fantastic. It may be slightly more spiced than some would like, but we really enjoy a little heat in our dishes. We tried several different meals and enjoyed each and every one. I also tried the chicken tikka masala as I was told it's nothing like what you would have in the uk. It was the best dish I had in Cavelossim, it kicked like a mule and was so flavoursome...really good. Try the cheese nan....omg!
Be mindful if you choose onion pakoras, there is probably enough to share between 4 and if you order rice, again, it could be shared between 4 people, you can ask for small portions which Is a good idea. Lastly, a special mention to all the staff. They are welcoming and professional. A special mention for Samim who couldn't have been more
attentive. He was an absolute pleasure.

We normally go here on our first night in Cavelossim and this time my wife picked the prawn sizzler and she thought it was excellent, so much she ask for the chef and want to thank him personally and Edwin brought him to us and she thanked him, the other three dish was all so excellent. This is a excellent friendly hotel and restaurant we aim to eat here 2 or 3 times during our stay.
