Fine dining experience, friendly staff....although a bit too eager to clear finished plates. Lovely French / modern / cosy decor. Very extensive wine list to suit all budgets. Terrace was lovely in summer heat. We found the menu good value for money although 3 pieces of lamb rather two would've been appreciated. All in all, a very nice experience. We will visit again.

This is a centrally located restaurant which looked a great deal more appealing than the competition. Food was excellent, with a creative and delicious dessert and service was fine, even though the restaurant was deservedly busy.

I make a point of eating here when I'm in Carpentras. The set menus are such good value for money and the food is delicious. There are loads of Vietnamese restaurants in France and this is a very good one.

They have a very nice evening menu at good price with wines of there own wineyard. Eating outside is the max.

The is a very quaint restourant off the beaten path. There are only about 6-7 tables so you need a reservation. NO ONE here speaks English so bruch up on your basic French. The food is beyond fabulous and the service is totally French...they don't bother you at all. Great atmosphere.

Being a great fan of the Japanese kitchen, and in particular the Sushis, the arrival of Osaya-Sushi in Carpentras is very welcome....
Our worldwide "search" for the best "japanese", during our travels, makes Osaya-Sushi, just around the corner our very Local hang-out for Sushis...
The slightly limited menu offers a nice variety of very fresh courses, we would love to have a few more hot courses >tempuras>>teriyaki etc etc..
Nevertheless greg and julie make you feel at home...to come back every week at least once!!!

Nouveau restaurant qui a ouvert le 3 mai 2012 qui remplace "la Ciboulette" (référencé sur tripadvisor) qui n'existe plus. Pas de site internet, mais référencé sur le site de l'office de tourisme de Carpentras. It can't be easy for a restaurant to take a late booking for ten rowdy people. The staff accepted us with grace and good humour and looked after us very well all evening. The food was great and the service was excellent; the pricing seemed very reasonable too. As a previous reviewer said - this is a hidden gem. It was all the harder to find as the town looks a little down at heel and one road is being dug up and looks a mess. Do make the effort though.

We used to drive 50 miles to Martigue to get our ice cream fix, but sadly that shop shut down. But now we have discovered Clavell which is almost across the st. From the Marie in Carpentras. There is convenient pay parking in a lot on the left side of the town ring road as you approach the turn for Cavaillon.
The pistache ice cream is not kelly green..a signal that it is artificially colored..it is the perfect dull, almost gray color and tastes like you have the real nut in your mouth.
The coconut is full of flakes..what a treat. I haven t had every ice cream in Provence, but I can't imagine anything better than the homemade ice cream at this venerable candy shop..the place to get berlingots, too..I think they are the gorgeous twisted lollipops in the display, but not positive.
Tel 04. 90 29 70 39. Across from Tourist Office. Zip 84200. large outdoor Terrace, indoor Seating, carry out ice cream if preferred. Dogs not welcome indoors. Very clean restroom.

Place is dated with a cool ambience that seems like a cave. Food is just like Morocco - tasty and inexpensive. The tajine comes out super hot. The couscous is generous and is perfect if you are vegetarian. If you are a regular, a selection of pastries come with the mint tea.
