Went here Canada day and had the place to ourselves. Nice steam punk renos in the lounge. Bathrooms are spotless. Good service. Excellent steaks all round and wings. Good prices. Only suggestion would be to include a vegetable or salad with the potato choice to balance the meal. We will go again for sure. Drinks are also excellent.

We ordered off the menu because we did not want to eat from the lunch buffet, which did not look all that great anyways. The meals were not impressive whatsoever. Very small portions, normal prices. 12 French fries, what a place!

Camrose is one of the more attractive smaller towns in north-central Alberta. It's known for its strong Scandinavian heritage, receiving Norwegian and Swedish settlers as early as the first decade of the 20th century. I have always thought that, after visiting the restored historic main street (50th Street) and taking a walk along Mirror Lake, in the centre of town, with its elegant swans, that the main treat of the day is a visit to The Lefse House. It's named after a potato bread that's revered in Norway. Nowhere else in Alberta will you find such authentic Scandinavian baked goods (breads and pastries). The delicious smell knocks you over when you enter! The Lefse House is known throughout the area as the place to go to eat and buy the food of the Scandinavian countries.
Friends and I stopped in on a cold winter day and had some good, filling northern European food. Prices aren't dirt cheap---they're consistent with what is charged for good-quality restaurant food. The good thing is that you get value for your money. The portions are generous. I ordered the Danish open-face Sandwich. Two of them came to the table. I could eat only one because they were so large, and took the other home. It was delicious---Swedish rye bread and on it slabs of cardamom pork (beef is the other option), crispy fried onions and purple cabbage. Well worth the price of $14.95! My friends had Lefse wraps (four choices of fillings) for the same price, and they said they were really tasty and filling. They also liked the Norwegian coffee.
The best part of visiting is to walk around and look at all the Scandinavian souvenirs, cookbooks, Norwegian Rosemaling art, napkins, novelty tee-shirts, that are for sale. Also, after you eat, you can take away their famous lefse bread, and also various Swedish rye breads and molasses breads, and light-as-a-feather cookies and sweets such as fattigmann (Norwegian fried cookies) and rosettes.
Food service was excellent. The older male waiter (the owner, I believe?) was attentive to our needs, especially to my two friends who had never been there before and were not familiar with Scandinavian food. The only thing that is a bit of a let-down is the exterior of The Lefse House. It's part of a small strip mall that was designed in an uninspiring 1970s-80s style. But don't let the exterior put you off---the inside is a real pleasure to eat in, smell, browse and buy. They stop serving lunch at 3 pm, and are closed on Sundays.

Our one-of-a-kind Canadian themed sports bar & grill has an extensive menu of appetizers, entrees, drinks and amazing specials every night of the week. You'll note our Canadian decor starts right when you walk up to our huge Inukshuk at our doors and continues throughout the restaurant in a "cheeky" Canadian fashion. We promise, when you come to The Canadian Brewhouse, you'll instantly feel at home, because our house is your house...only we have way more TVs! You won't find a better selection of screens anywhere for the sports you love! We even provide tabletop speakers for those nights when multiple sports and teams are playing. Our house is your house.
I, along with my husband and friend, went to the Brewhouse for brunch the other day. Syd (our waitress) and Brooke (our bartender) went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. The food was excellent along with the drinks. I love the cozy atmosphere and to have excellent service just makes for an awesome experience.
Thank you Syd and Brooke for taking such good care of us! Definitely recommend!

Hey Budda Boom Budda Bing! We are the Home of All-You-Can-Eat soup or salad and garlic home loaf and offer delicious Italian meals at great value. At East Side Mario’s your family is our family and we are committed to deliver Amore in everything we do!
We stopped by for a quick lunch when we were in town for a dance festival. I arrived a few minutes after the others in my family and they had already ordered for me but I was greeted with a starter salad and bread. The salad and bread were a great starter with the salad featuring everything I like but the dressing was not quite as tangy as it is at another restaurant with the same type of a menu.
Our food came quickly and they were happy to refill our salad and bread. There was more than enough food and none of us finished our meal, even though they were good. The price was reasonable and we were given suckers to send us on our way. All in all a favorable experience.

Nice varied menu. I had the poutine and chicken wings. Not enough cheese and not melted in the poutine. Wings ok, not as good as they used to be. A couple had steak and fries which they said was good. One had ribs, said they were good but a small portion and his mashed potatoes were dry. One had the chicken Marsala and she said it was very tasty. One had the Kung Pao bowl and it was good. Nothing over the top but all round a good meal.

A very tasty place for not just Sushi, but their other dishes as well. A very large list of Sushi to order, from the basic to the adverturous. All have been fantastic and highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for Sushi. Their other dishes are very tasty as well. Great friendly service too.

My dad lives in Camrose and this is my favorite restaurant. The evening buffet serves deep fried shrimp; it is VERY lightly breaded - exceptional compared to any other deep fried shrimp I've had. There is a tremendous amount of variety, ginger beef, deep fried chicken (lots of meat), satay, vegetables, rolls, teriyaki chicken etc., etc. Well worth the money. Place is very clean.

Sacred Arts is a hub of conscious community, offering many avenues to explore healthy and inspired living, including a natural-foods plant-based cafe, yoga studio with daily drop-in classes as well as a retail store.
This place has a bright clean and peaceful atmosphere. I am always greeted with a kind smile and a genuine welcome.
I met a friend there yesterday for lunch as we have on many occasions and as always we had a delicious meal. We shared a Buddha bowl - got to love the peanut sauce and the tofu on that one, I wish I could copycat that recipe for at home, Kale Caesar salad with in house dressing so tangy and fresh and my friend had a Pumpkin Latte with REAL pumpkin amazing- warms the soul. I had my favorite Yogi tea, so flavourful and creamy with coconut milk-I love having non-dairy alternatives.
I feel good knowing everything is vegetarian, fresh and supports our local economy.
