This is a restaurant frequented by locals and tourists. The food is tasty. I had a piece of fish al Diablo, and it was very tasty. They don't seem to take credit cards. A sign was up saying they aren't taking them at the moment, but our hotel said they never take them.

Nicely laid out modern decor with excellent lighting and friendly waiters. Stunning fresh Gulf fish in abundance. Crab claws, coconut prawns, Black Snail in garlic, all delicious. Perfect.

This restaurant is open 24 hours a day. It is very Mexican in decor and food. If you eat here try a Mexican dish you have not had before. Everything is clean so you won't have
to worry about your stomach. All the waiters are very experienced and can help you decide. Prices are very reasonable.

Calle 59 is closed to auto traffice so all the resturants can have tables in the street surrounded by the wonderful colonial architecture of Campeche. The street has a canopy of tiny, colorful lights at night wehich add to the atmosphere. We at lunch here...MoreMuchas Gracias por vivir la experiencia , lo que comemos en casa los mexicanos, regresen pronto! Mi casa su casa

Organic food with unique dishes in a comfy place and service with a smile. For something different try the chocolate tamal and cocoa with Chile.

Go here with an appetite since the servings are large and also well prepared. We started with the pescado ceviche a large bowl of fresh fish, perfectly marinated with cilantro, excellent and this should have been our complete meal. I ordered the shrimp salad, again quite large and sufficient to share. There were large cubes of avacado, shaved red onions, cilantro and at least 20 or more very fresh medium sized shrimp served on a small platter. My partner ordered the red snapper filet with Veracruz sauce. In most restaurants this would have served two persons. It was served with
yellow rice and assorted fresh vegitables. Go here for excellent seafood and atmosphere and very good value.

Shared a couple of items. Salad and chicken strips. Both were edible but not that great. No after-effects, just not very tasty. Staff were fun and efficient. Mid range prices. Got beer from the shop across the street. There are better more interesting places.

Beautiful cafe with friendly staff. There was a guitarist while we were there. Desserts looked great and we will go back one night to try them. We had fresh mango juice and the poblano crepe, both terrific. The burgers were pretty good on house baked bun. The cheese was great.

At the center of it all. A great place to have a seat for ice cream or some sort of other refreshment. Very much worth it.

Don Gustavo Restaurant menu offers local traditional options as well as international alternatives such as meats, pastas and seafood accompanied by a selection of national and foreign wines. Located in the heart of an old 17th century mansion with an exclusive atmosphere, the service is offered in the central courtyard surrounded by the amazing archery of the house or out by the 59th Street, a cultural space worth knowing in the city.
The food was top notch! We ordered panuchos as a starter, four mains and two desserts (the mayan chocolate mousse is a must try) and they all tasted really good. The service, although a bit slow as we were the only diners at that time, was really professional and attentive. The setting and ambience are also very nice touches to the dinner experience. I would definitely come back next time if I ever visit Campeche again.
