We went to Asador D'berto for a dinner we had :
Almeja Marinera - it was cooked perfectly , the sauce was also really interesting with onion flavor
Oysters - good quality
PErcebes - amazing
CIgalas big ones - two Cigalas were 350 grams . For me the best dish of the night
Lobster - that was a big surprise , probably the best lobster I ever had in my life. Cooked perfectly, super delicate sauce with a little pinch of garlic
Desert- well it's Spain , so you can't expect too much :)
It was so good that we booked for next day for lunch .
Lunch - They didn't have half of the menu and even the amazing lobster wasn't amazing ... It was overcooked , sauce out of balance , powdered garlic dominated it.

What sets this restaurant apart from so many other seafood restaurants is that it not only knows how to prepare high quality seafood but also has mastered ambiance, service and presentation. So far the best restaurant experience we have had in Galicia. We didn't have the special rice dishes made with seafood, lobster, etc which several other guests had and that we're a feast (in a real sense) for the eyes. Instead we had multiple small courses served individually to try the variety of fresh seafood on the menu. Mussels, croquetas de bogavante, grilled razor clams, pulpo came one after another. Too much food but we ate it all plus a shared fish fish expertly plated. And we made the right decision to share a dessert. A rolled crepe filled with a coffee and rum mousse with carmel, shaved almonds and a finely shaped oval of helado. If any doubt about the freshness of the crustaceans, they are in a tank and your selection may be brought to the table to view before cooking. An the most amazing part was the bill. A great value for a priceless meal!

Casa Rosita is a nice hotel in an old pazo (noble house) which is very well situated. The restaurant is the main lobby area so the reception is at the entrance of the restaurant, so it has the feeling of a hotel dining room, that is to say, a bit cold and impersonal
I have not used the hotel so I am speaking only about the restaurant. The food was good but nothing comes to mind as outstanding. The barnacles were smaller than expected but the fish in general looked and tasted good. Service was attentive but felt they needed more waiters.
All in all a bit impersonal and cold but in a good location with good food. I would rate it good, but the choices are average or very good, so I will go for average. Then again, it depends what kind of place you like.

Loved the food and decor, good value though this may be a bit traditional for some. Three course set meal was good value and filling - would like to return. Do note that Maria Jose is on the first floor above the busy bar restaurant downstairs which wan't bad either...

If you can ever call Cambado touristy that is. This restaurant we found in a side street. It definitely did not look like there was going to be a restaurant at the end of this road. Loved the cigales they served as a starter. Loved the main course which was fish done in a traditional way a la zarzuela. And I loved the way this seemed to be a Family business with several generations in it and the more senior seem to know their stuff. I caught a glimpse of them working away. The decor is also pleasant and traditional. They have put effort into that. It is the kind of restaurant you will take the Family for a nice outing for Sunday lunch.

We were hungry, but did not want to eat seafood (we had already eaten a lot...) and locals told us about the Chiringuito. We got there and were agreeably surprised by the many options available, and by the affordable prices. It had many guests eating there, also very nice - they even offerred for me to taste the "vaca vieja" churrasco they had ordered - a huge portion of barbecued beef. Service was excellent, and we plan to return.

We heard about this place from On the Road Again: Spain and made it our Mission to find it. The locals were very helpful in helping us locate it, and we could not have been happier with the meal. The owner was very friendly, and took time to show us the clippings they had received after the TV show visited the restaurant. The food was outstanding...fresh, flavourful and interesting. We couldn't try everything from the menu but made a dent and hope to return soon. After we ate we watched the women who harvest the shellfish return from the tide beds and sort/sell their harvest. A walk into downtown Cambados is a short 15-minute walk, and beautiful. A great experience all around.

We had lunch yesterday at Lavandeiro. Everything was delicious. As starters we had one salad , one octopus, one empanada. Afterwards we shared one mariscada with centollo which was delicious . We were still hungry so we shared solomillo (also awesome).
To finish , as dessert we enjoyed white chocolate pudding, cannoli and cheesecake . Service was extremely friendly and efficient making the whole experience unforgettable!

Of course the place is great, one of the Michelin star restaurants that I enjoyed! Food was superb, especially starter and desert. Main course was good but not great, their wine selection was also decent. But what I liked most in the restaurant were staff- all of them so friendly and helpful! The only reason I did not give 5* is main course, which in my view was not top quality.

This was recommended by my hotel, and at Casa Pintos they were perfectly correct. Not so here at Trasno.
Different clientele and ambience, upmarket and modern.
My two dishes - a salad with prawns, and a stuffed peppers - were both heavily sauced with a "tomato sauce" that was really Marie rose (for us English!), heavy and sweet, which smothered any other tastes.
Very disappointed, and didn't feel like a mains, as prices were not cheap, and for me, not good value at all.
