The site of the 2013 World Games, Cali is the sporting epicenter of Colombia. Pristine golf courses and countless opportunities for adventure sports in local parks, mountains and deserts are a big draw. Cultural attractions in Cali reflect the area’s rich indigenous history and European influence. Visit an archaeological park to experience tombs, ruins and cave paintings, or celebrate with the locals at a cultural festival. Show off your salsa in a lively nightclub, then spend the next morning recovering with an aromatic cup of that famous Colombian coffee.

What an awful experience. Went to celebrate my sons birthday. I ordered a mushroom starter. The mushroom was completely raw, it had been flashed under the grill just long enough to heat the top of it. The rest was raw. I ordered a 4 cheese pizza for main and what arrived was a white bland mess. There was no sign of any garnish, all the cheese was just completely melted and runny and it was so salty that it was inedible. First and last visit to this establishment.

A friend recommended this place near the Peñon park and we decided to go on Friday night. It's located in the West side of Cali just in front of Peñon Park which is very nice. This restaurant is the perfect combination between excellent food and top service. Try the Isabelina cocktail (a mix of kiwi, strawberries with mandarin juice, you can add vodka if you like). We had the light fish that has mango and the spring rolls. Everything delicious in a charming ambiance.

We had a very nice lunch. The restaurant is beautiful with a mixture of Spanish colonial look and Philippines artwork feel. The carpaccio and burrata with balsamic dressing were great. The black rice in squid sauce and coconut shrimp were very tasty. The service was very friendly. The pasta and vegetable sauce was too heavy and salty for my taste. Would go there again.

This is a phenomenal place obviously conceived by a very creative mind. Nestled in the historic Barrio San Antonio, Teatro Magico del Sabor is a delight to every sense. One walks into a parlor that is accented by the owners own artistic creations, proceed down a corridor lined to one side with an open-air rock wall providing host to tropical plants & flowers and into a theater setting surrounding the stage which is the restaurant's kitchen. The back of the theater venue is a gallery wall filled with creations and interesting photos. Various musical instruments are available around the theater gallery. The owner and my husband, Hugo Taylor originally from Cali, Colombia, broke out into an impromptu concert sharing their own musical creations.
The FOOD! The food is superb. We ordered several appetizer items and some non-alcoholic beverages. The beverages are all made on-site and of quality ingredients. I feel that an appetizer gives the patron a hint of what is to come and we were not disappointed. All are made with the freshest of ingredients, a significant portion and presented in a very pleasing manner. Delicious! A delight to the senses! We saw another patron digging into an enormous plate of food with great pleasure. He obviously is a regular at this establishment. I wasn't sure if he would be able to finish the entire dish but he certainly did and then had dessert along with a beautiful tropical drink. We also had dessert - a creamy custard with caramelized sugar sprinkling the top. Again, delicious!
We visited during the lunch hour, however, the evening is where the action occurs when the owner and staff provide a theater show while preparing the patrons' meals. While we were there, engaging and beautiful music was playing on a crisp and clear sound system at a volume that was pleasing.
The owner is Michael Lynch along with his wife, Sonia. This place is Michael's dream. Michael is a musician, writer, artist and creator of beautiful food. Obviously this establishment was created with a lot of love. It came from a Dream World and landed in lovely San Antonio to pleasure the senses of it's patrons.
If you are a visitor to Cali, Colombia, do take the time to seek out Teatro Magico del Sabor in the Barrio San Antonio. You will not be disappointed in any way. I am certain after your experience here, you will walk away satisfied, content and happy as we did.

It is a small restaurant with limited choices (4 dishes) but they are all very tasteful. If you really want to go there, better make a reservation. The chef changes the dishes once a month. The starters are small, but also very good. Deserts are also delicious. Price is fair.

Can't go wrong here with the local flavors of El Valle Del Cauca, all done with a modern fusion. Excellent service that was some of the best and friendliest I've ever encountered anywhere. The warm ceviche and definitely the oxtail are can't miss dishes. Highly reccommended.

Small, unpretentious, with great service and a tasty meal. It is an Argentinian Steak House that served Colombian Beef. It is located and isolated in the corner of a food court in the Chipichape shopping mall. You can either eat in the restaurant itself or order and eat in the food court. I ordered a Sirloin Cut, medium rare. It came with salad and potatoes along with bread. I ordered a glass of Malbec. The steak was cooked to my liking, flavorful, and well seasoned. The sides were adequate. The Malbec even though house wine was very good. The service was good and I had a waiter who could speak some English. There was other staff who took care of clearing the table when my waiter was not available. This was my second time eating here so obviously I was happy with my second experience and would recommend it for a reasonably priced, outstanding meal!
