I recently adventured with my parents and a few of their friends when they came to visit in Peru (where I live), and El Huacatay is an absolute must if you're spending any amount of time in Urubamba, in the Sacred Valley! It's very well-hidden...MoreThank you for the recommendation and for visiting us.

Open every day (monday to sunday) from 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm, we have a nice balcony and capacity for 40 people. Local, international and fusion food, wines and cocktails.
This was my 7th time at the restaurant and as usual it was amazing. I order the Lamb Shank and the pepper steak. We had dinner with the owner who very entertaining and fun to chat with. The quality of the food here is really remarkable. I was saddened to hear that the restaurant will be closing soon after 14 years.

This place has a nice atmosphere but the food is just ok. Nice selection of juices. They say they accept credit cards but pressure you to pay cash and use the overpriced atm machine which charges 4.50 for international transactions. My chicken dish was ok

Since 1999 Mullu Cafe offers creative dishes mixing peruvian and asian cuisine. The place is rustic style, lounge music and a spectacular balcony view of the Pisac Market and Ruins. For travelers that want to feel like home.
I dined here a number of times last April while visiting Pisac. This cafe/restaurant is a lovely place to dine...clean and welcoming. It offers great views over Plaza de Armas...It serves excellent coffee and is definitely worth a return visit....

Three story building with rooftop Terrace. You can eat quickly or stay for hours making use of our free wifi. Pisac's number one meeting place.
We stopped in for a late dinner our first night in Peru, and it was great to find healthy fare in this interesting multi-level building with a central courtyard. The food is simple, organic, fare mixing local styles with international. The cafe is very relaxed, with sofas, games for all ages, and books available - and easy place to relax for a tea or a whole meal.

We stayed at the Pisac Inn so we were lucky enough to eat at Cuchara de Palo several times. We enjoyed it every time!
The breakfast there is yummy. The standard breakfast (eggs, bread, avocado, cheese) is great, and the quinoa pancakes are delicious!
For dinner I had aji de gallina one night and trucha a la maracuya another. Both were good! The maracuya sours were also yummy.
The service is very friendly. We love Pisac Inn and Cuchara de Palo!

We decided to explore outside of our hotel and chose Ananau for dinner.
I chose trout ceviche to start, huge portion! Followed by aji de gallina, another huge portion but I managed to eat both
We chose a nice bottle of Peruvian red to accompany. S228 inc grats

One of the best things about Peru has been all the people we interacted with. They are all so friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff was no exception. They have a good menu, really nice ambience with a big fireplace in the center. The food was good and we also enjoyed breakfast here the next day.

Wayra means wind in Quechua, the language of our Valley. Now, it also means a unique space where nature, art, gastronomy, adventure and good living blend together.
If you stay in the hotel, the restaurant is a great location to have a lunch. Just be mindful, if you are not part of a tour group as you need to eat a la carte, instead of the special prepared tasting menu. The reception in the hotel is not able to make that kind of reservation. But overall the a la carte is excellent, and you can sit on benches watching a nice horseshow. We had several items, of which one was the pork belly which was very nice indeed.
