Also known as the ""Queen of Beaches"" , Calangute is is Goa's flagship beach. It is also the most commercialized of all beaches in Goa. Due to its extreme popularity, Calangute beach beckons tourists and backpackers from all over the world and the beach remains choc-a-block with tourists all year around. The beach is dotted with shacks and a lot of the clubs open up onto the beach. There are lots of shows held on the beach including rock, pop beat shows, open air dances, and fetes. Long established Calangute beach restaurant. Great atmosphere for drinks and
appetizers just as the sunsets. We decided to stay for dinner and try their dinner menu.
Service is excellent and the waiters were all long time professionals...
my wife had the whole red snapper and I have the jumbo prawns both prepared tandoori style.. presentation was nice but the food was just OK I mean just OK. Fish wasn’t jumping out of the box and the prawns we’re not jumping around either... so not as fresh as you would like it to be considering their presenting whole fresh fish ,prawns and lobsters. so I’d say go for the drinks go for the appetizer pass on dinner find yourself something in town . You might want to consider some insect repellent on the body before you sit down for drinks

Great surroundings, wonderful food, friendly and attentive staff. What more could anyone wish for? A group of 14 of us went there, all the food came at the same time, it was all delicious and the price was so reasonable. Top notch!

A taste of something different with a rage of foods Thai, Tibetan , but other dishes supplied on request .
Salads are washed in bottle water , orthentic. Service by attentive waiters.
Toilets could be better , but we are in India ! And they are European .
Finding it is difficult ,access is down small alluways off the main beach road

This restaurant may be a little difficult to find but believe me it's well worth the effort. Fabulous food and excellent service. Victor and his son keep the Goan tradition going. Highly recommended.

Great place to eat any time of day. Evening entertainment on most nights. TV showing football, cricket etc.Food and hygeine is excellent and the waiters are very welcoming and on the ball. Cheers for some quality food.

Aggie and the boys greeted us like old friends every day and always had a cold beer on hand for us. Nothing was too much trouble and they have a legendary beach game you need to ask about! Loved it.

We ate at Jamie’s several times and always enjoyed it. The menu is very extensive, with a choice of Indian, Chinese and European dishes. The food was always good, staff were polite and attentive and there’s a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Prices were very good too!
