Caherdaniel (Irish: Cathair Dónall, meaning "Dónall's stone ringfort") is a village in County Kerry, Ireland, located on the Iveragh peninsula on the Ring of Kerry. It is on the southwestern side of the peninsula, facing onto Derrynane Bay, at a T-junction on the N70 road.

This is a lovely spot right on the beachfront in Waterville. Apparently its name derives from the days when there was a thriving smuggling trade carried out between the small villages along the southwest coast of Ireland and France and Spain. Today you can sit and look out on the same waters those Smugglers frequented from a heated, glassed-in restaurant and enjoy a fine meal. We visited in October just before they were closing for the season and it was early in the evening so we dined from the Early Bird Menu which gave us a starter, main course + dessert for 30 Euros each. Amongst us we had seafood, chicken, and hake - all were excellent. The restaurant prides itself in featuring local foods on its menu, Lenora provided prompt, friendly service. Recommended.

Serving food like it used to taste. Hearty Traditional Plates, Seafood Platters, Veggie Dishes, Omelettes, Soups and Sandwiches., Award Winning Auntie Bridies Brown Bread, Tasty Desserts, Wine Licence. Parties Catered for.We care for our food and customers in equal measures.
we stopped for lunch on our travels around Kerry and this little restaurant seemed busy so we opted to try it. Goats cheese panini was great and served with good coffee but the chowder was too stodgy but served with nice brown bread

This was a lunch stop as our bus tour rode around the Ring of Kerry. We lined up in a gift shop while waiting our turn at the cafeteria-style food area. I bought several cute souvenirs there.
They have an efficient process for getting everyone through the line quickly. The food is standard fare -- nothing special but good enough. The best part is the view of the bay, especially if you get a window seat. Particularly for that reason, I thought this was a good place for lunch.

This little cafe sits at the top of the park, overlooking Skellig Bay. There are several small cafe tables outside, which are perfect for enjoying the weather on a nice, sunny day. The food was average, but the staff was friendly. They serve take away food that you can enjoy for a picnic down by the shore.

Bar/Restaurant in hotel but open to public
This bar has a nice local atmosphere and delicious meal choices. You will not be rushed, but the wait is worth it. We especially enjoyed the platter of local seafood, beautifully presented and very fresh/tasty.

We came here for dinner after researching places on trip advisor for our trip to kerry and we were not disappointed! Everyone loved their chosen dishes, the salmon was the best salmon we've ever tasted, so fresh and full of flavour. Great wine and Guinness too! The staff were all friendly and service was good. Would go again if I was ever back in the area.

The Blind Piper is a family friendly traditional pub serving good quality food. Live Music every Thursday from March - December.
We were taking pictures of this bright building and it looked like an interesting place so in we went. It looked busy so we asked for a quiet area and were taken to an empty room, given a heater and a menu. We were surprised by the choices and what we had was really good. It is a quaint place and comfortable.

We had dinner in Dooleys on Friday and we HAD to return on Saturday the food is first class. We don’t know where to start! The crab claws the steak the fish “all melt in your mouth heaven “, the staff are friendly and attentive the views looking out at the wild Atlantic are breathtaking it feels like you’re on a ship, dining in a luxurious setting yet it maintains a homely feel with a lovely open fire. The ships sails inside the restaurant are a must see and gorgeous feature among others, we will definitely be back.

A tour bus that we were travelling on landed in Waterville at 2.15 on a cold Monday afternoon in November. There were only two places open, a coffee shop and The Lobster.
The owner/chef had just left for her home when she received a panicked phone call from the kitchen to say over 20 hungry people had landed unexpectedly. She turned tail and came back to the pub. Thankfully.
Lovely Garlicky Crab Claws, Fish N Chips and soups were produced in lightening time. The only problem was that there seemed to be a big issue with people who wanted sandwiches. No idea why.
Hot coffee and a few cracking pints of Guinness later, a bus load of happy campers continued on their way. Well done to the Lobster.

We wandered here after spending a few hours on the beach. Lovely little cafe. The menu is small, but just right for our needs - some toasties, tea and cake. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Cash only
