Fuimos a almorzar, nos atendieron muy bien, la atención de la
Moza muy buena y la comida solicitada también estaba muy rica y bien preparada. Los precios están en cuenta. Lo recomiendo.

This inn is very well located literally by the sea. The staff is very friendly; the rooms are clean although a bit small and several have a view on the sea. The restaurant serves simple but well prepared food. Prices in high summer season are a bit higher than expected.

You really need to stick to a few things here: one is the fish offer of the day and the other are the squid rings. Do not expect much if you diverge from these offerings. Prices are steep and service rather indifferent. But the Terrace is divine after a long walk on the north beach especially over a cold beer. The wine choice is nothing to write home about.

I loved this place... the service was really good and the food DELICIOUS... everything in the place is artistically oriented ... La Golosa manages to offer an amazing enviroment in a place where electricity is not requiered <3 ...a really nice place in one of the most calm and beautiful places I have ever been... I can't wait to go back to Cabo Polonio

It's actually called La Majuga these days. Great milanesa sandwiches - both the fish and the beef - and excellent empanadas. It's a simple place, but the ingredients are fresh and delicious. After some bad experiences at other restaurants in Cabo we kept going back.

Proa has a great, well deserved, reputation. The chef Gustavo is a commercial fisherman turned restaurant owner/chef. I don't know how he was as a fisherman but he is a great chef! The staff is wonderful and outside dining is right on the beach. What a view! Another of my favorite restaurants.

We were at Dani's place one beautiful night at Cabo Polonio, Rocha, Uruguay. El Polonio was one of the point of interests we visited with our co-parents-in-law in our two weeks trip to Uruguay (last week of March and first of April 2014). We had dinner trying "chivitos al plato" and fish and "flan with dulce de leche" as a desert. The size and taste of dishes was excellent; the service and attention superb considering the isolation of this wonderful place. We also enjoyed the conversation with Dani about the people at Polonio and their concerns on the environment. Next day at noon we asked Dani for fish milanesa to go for our trip to Punta del Este; other delicatessen. We were joking comparing that amazing food with the McFish filet. If you are going to Polonio, stop at Dani's: you will not be repented of.

Very uncomfortable seats. Good entertainment. Pizza was good. Waitress was mean. We made Reservations a day before. We showed up the next day and the Waitress told we were supposed to confirm.? Confirm Reservations in cabo polonio? really? Anyways. Better than cooking and cleaning

First, the food! For a funky beach town geared to the frop outs of the world, one would never expect a restaurant to serve food fit for the capitol- but La Perla does! Everything we shared- the fish, steak, pasta, soup- was excellent! For dessert, the volcano was one of the best desserts ever (the creme broulee was a bit liquidy for everyone, so not our favorite). The prices were ok, but there is a whopping 100 U Pesos table service per person. Good wine selection, and the bar is fully equipped to serve two of our friends a good whiskey:-).
The only downside- the waiter never smiled, never checked on us, and appeared indifferent when we were asking questions. This does not mean he didn't serve us well, but he was more a detraction from the dinner rather than adding tothe experience.

The owner of this place is amazing. Joselo is a very kind blind old man who runs the place with an incredible skills. Nice food and amazing vibe.
