Me and my boyfriend went here to celebrate a special occasion.
The restaurant is in the courtyard of an old house of '700, in the center of Busto Arsizio.
We stayed in a small, intimate room, perfect for romantic dinners.
The dishes are creative and original. The cost is not very low, but the quality / price ratio is excellent.
We will be back!

This restaurant is out of the way, but worth the trip. Located about an hour outside of Milan in a quite suburb, you would never expect from it's facade the food they are capable of preparing. Hands down one of the top 3 dinners of my life, easily eclipsing 1,000 + Euro dinners at places like La Grand Vefour. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that really is into food and likes raw fish.
This restaurant is as authentic as it comes. Run by a small family - the father the host and waiter, mother and son in the kitchen - their focus is solely on the food, not the ambiance.

What a surprise!
It was wonderful to find an alternative cuisine that not only provided another taste to Northern Italian dining experiences but also of a good authentic quality.
We sampled the set menu with a variety of Malay foods. All were lovely and quite a large quantity for a reasonable price.
The staff were great in every sense.
So sad that its taken me so long to find this place.
Will definitely be going back to try other dishes on their extensive menu.

Cucina italiana semplice e genuina, rivisitando i vecchi sapori in base alla disponibilita giornaliera di ingredienti sempre freschi.
Was brought there by business partner who ordered for me. Spend more than three hours there. As i do not speak italian, i am not able to remember names of dishes. But it was typical italian, not complicated and very tasty.

If you happen to find yourself in Busto Arsizio, the food choices are limited, as are the local gastronomic offerings. Tarlisu is one of the palatable former and makes an attempt to proffer the latter. The restaurant's creators opt for authenticity over creativity, so the menu features stalwarts of Lombardy cooking like cotoletta Milanese (in two sizes), various risotto dishes, seasonal pastas and gnocchj, and Busto's sole claim to culinary fame: polenta e bruscitti (shredded beef slowly cooked with herbs and served with polenta). Efficient service in a pleasant setting add to the attraction and have made Tarlisu one of the few restaurants to find and keep its following in this business-minded, value-conscious town. BTW, "Tarlisu" is a kind of textile developed by Bustocchi in the 1800s, when the town was known as the Manchester of Italy.

If you are staying near Milan airport and would like some gorgeous food - you should try this little place out. I headed out on a miserable rainy night and it was so worth getting a little wet. Not only was the host very accommodating but the Chef, Alex turns out some amazing dishes. The combinations were perfect to kindle (or rekindle as the case may be) a love of food. Handing the wine selection over to Alex turned out to be perfect as The wine was perfectly matched. Thank you and I am coming again

What can I say? So far from the sea but so near a fish lover paradise. I urge anyone landing anywhere near Milan to visit this restaurant. The setting is fantastic and the food just sublime, starting with le alici in tempura valeriana, moving on to le pennette all'astice, resting with a glass of gavi dei gavi just before reaching heaven after having enjoyed la torretta di rombo agli asparagi. What an experience my first meal at the Idea Verde.
