Had a lovely meal tonight I did read some negative reviews beforehand and was unsure whether to book a table as we hadn't been here for a few years but thought we'd give it a go for our wedding anniversary and really glad we did.
Surroundings are nicely done and there's a lovely ambience to the restaurant. I must say the toilets are lovely, lol! Don't usually comment on toilets in restaurant reviews but they are really plush for a little restaurant in West Wickham.
Yeah music is a little on the load side as others have said but then that makes people talk a bit louder so can be a bit noisey and can understand if that bothers some people but it was fine with us and the music was varied and good tunes.
Not sure if we just happened to picked the right items on the menu but we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Don't usually add pictures of food on this website but thought it was so nice I just wanted to share. Having said that, dessert was disappointing, I chose raspberry chocolate brownie which didnt taste of anything much really such a shame and don't think it was homemade and if it was then they need somebody else to make it, lol! Again might just be my taste.
Waiters were also very friendly and attentive without being constantly at the table. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and even though a little on the expensive side it's worth it for a special night out and the place was full so obviously a lot of people enjoy it here.

Vibrant, sleek and sophisticated, Madhuwan is a stylish Indian & nepalese dining venue. Located on Bromley Hill, this restaurant is a super-chic affair decorated with vermillion walls, dark wooden furniture, retro wallpaper and over-sized silver pendant lamps. Designed by Vincent Tsang and Miho Sakamoto, the hip interior reflects Madhuwan’s approach to cuisine and hospitality – traditional with a contemporary twist and plenty of attention to detail.Discover why Bromley locals adore the creative cooking that goes on in the kitchen here, and each dish at Madhuwan is thoughtfully prepared and exquisitely presented. Our friendly, polished atmosphere and wholesome, healthy food make this restaurant a fantastic venue for dates, parties or corporate dining.
The key reason fo many return visits is Food and Service of a consistently high standard. Madhuwan certainly ticks both boxes. I have reviewed this Restaurant several times and I find it difficult to find criticisms. Momos are superb. Main courses are excellent. High quality Food in a high quality setting. Very creative Menu. More visits are on the cards !

The renowned and award-winning restaurant, part of the well-regarded Shampan Group, has just reopened after a major refurbishment and the introduction of a new A la carte and drinks menu. A modern and eye-catchingly sleek design, taking inspiration from the group’s flagship establishment Shampan at the Spinning Wheel in Westerham, the upstairs, ground floor dining area attracts with the focal point of a centrally placed bar whilst the basement dining area, the Cinnamon Room, places emphasis on alcoves and intimate booth Seating along with a spacious lounge and Seating area for the downstairs bar. Highlights amongst the new menu include starters such as Pickled Paneer & Pepper Melody (with tomato & chilli coulis) to Tandoor Seared Organic Salmon (with lemongrass & chilli), along with mains including Kerala Spiced King Prawns, Curry Leaf & Coconut Sauce, Coconut Rice, and Shampan’s signature Chicken Masala & Pilau Rice.
I use this restaurant regularly. I’ve tried many other Indian restaurants all over the country over many years but Shampan 2 is one of my favourites. It’s the restaurant that I judge other Indians by and it rarely disappoints in any way. Staff always friendly...MoreDear Steven, Thanks for the review you have left for us. We value customer feedback, your review makes us feel warm inside as it confirms why we love what we do. Look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Thanks Shampan management

This was my first visit to Cinnamon Culture and certainly won't be my last. Great service from the moment we walked in. We had an early table and thought it would be empty, glad to say it wasn't. The food choice was so different that it was hard to choose. I had the squid to start and my daughter had the ostrich, both equally good. For main I had the lamb shank which was melt in the mouth and my daughter had the duck, which she thoroughly enjoyed. No room for pud as the portions are generous. Couldn't fault our visit.

Had the pleasure of being taken care of by Kyle and the team. Drinks and burgers in a window side table. Service was attentive, entertaining and knowledgeable. The portions are huge and the restaurant hosts a number of challenges. Looking forward to coming back soon. 10/10!

I visited this restaurant on Monday 12th March with 3 friends. First impression..... we were met with a great warm greeting and shown to our table. Our waiter was charming and recommended several dishes from the large menu. The food arrived quick and was very hot and fresh
Both our starters & mains were all delicious and very filling... shame we didn’t have room for dessert. We are definitely coming back for another visit. Highly recommended

Had dinner here with a friend on Thursday evening. Good, attentive service and tasty food - we had the mixed starter and then I had the honey duck with rice - generous portion and very tasty. The restaurant is fairly small but we were able to get a table without booking. I'm sure we will go back.

A friend and I paid our first visit yesterday lunch time. It was excellent nothing was too much trouble. I had Oysters, Octopus and Mussels. Again all excellent and so many mussels I had the bowl for shells replaced 3 times. Wine prices were also very good. We were not rushed or hassled out of the restaurant will definitely return again.

I have been coming here since it opened and have never been let down by the service or the food. It’s consistent. Nice ingredients. Nice speciality beers and the chocolate salami is unique and a local legend.
It offers an individual touch that is sadly lacking nowadays.
We even hosted my daughters birthday and that was both very reasonably priced and a great evening. Becky took care of the whole thing as always with her great personal touch.
