Though we have only dined at the Chateau du Mylord once before, we were greeted like regular visitors and felt welcome, which definitely also is thanks to sommelier Bart Lamont. The whole evening is like an adventerous luxurious culinaric trip with small surprises along the road. The micro-menus are my favourite. They are like a total surprise and the taste sensation is just fantastic. We went for the "Back from Holidays" menu...loved it. And the wine..... I can only recommend to choose the wine menu and let Bart handle the wine selection. If you appreciate delicate food, superior wine and being totally spoiled, you should pay Chateau du Mylord a visit ;-).

Beatufully restorated castle wioth Gardens and ponds cosy dining rooms and excellent modern day tastes in this family run business
Le Vieux Chateau is hidden away from the main street behind trees and placed in a park surrounded by a moat, where a Black swan is reigning with its entourage of ducks. The restaurant itself is more like a large dark living room with huge Castle Windows and a Warming fire place. We went there Long Friday to celebrate a birthday. The service was impeccable, they did their best to translate the menu (only available in French and Flamish). The food was just great. Variations we hadn't tried yet and nicely served and prepared. Also everyone got 3 different kind of appetizers even though only two had ordered it. The mushroom soup was absolutely heavenly - I did not know, that mushroom soup could taste that good. Complements to the chef! The birthday child (my son) got a surprise plate before dessert. A delicious pineapple/mint cocktail served with a little firework. If you would like to enjoy a great dinner of good quality in beautiful surroundings and great service, then visit this place. Our best recommendations!

Geraardsbergen, being a real drawback, has not much to offer in the culinary field. The "verborgen tuin" is really an exception, especially if you put your faith in the hands of the chef. The menu is surprising, varied and delicate; so are the accompanying wines. Every time we came here, we discovered unknown dishes. Service is correct and relax.

Soup, fish sol meuniere, and a dessert dame blanche, all very good quality and well served. During the day you can make a walk in the forrest starting about +- 50 metres from the brasserie.

We had a lovely dinner composed of 4 courses (the 5th course is a platter of cheese).
Inclusive the adapted wines, water and coffee we have been served for 165€ for two.
The chef is able in a creative way to make excellent combinations with fresh ingredients.
Portions are rather small but delicious. Service is impeccable. The Terrace is nice and quiet although in the city centre.
A lunch is served daily at a reasonable rate of 35€. Or a 1 course lunch costs 22€.
Yes, this is a nice place.

Excellent restaurant. Beautiful place. One of the best restaurants you can visit. Super all in menus. Price/quality is very very good. The service is perfect, not too slow, not too quick. Gentle personnel. I will certainly go back. Perfect, you cannot find better.

The numerous times we have visited the restaurant, the food and ambience was always above standards. Next to the excellent food, the restaurant is also very nice looking. A nice building with a contemporary interior.
We always go for the menu D-Couverte, the 5 dishes menu with a more "luxury" product in the extra dish.
If you are in the surroundings of Ronse (and even if you are not), a must visit!

Fortunately it was a very pleasant summers evening - so the massive wait was not too bad, but I have to say that the service was VERY SLOW!
The food was delightful and the wines were excellent. I would recommend visiting the restaurant ... but be prepared for a long wait!

Restaurant cosy vous offrant une cuisine pleines de créativités et d'audace par un jeune chef cuisinier ° Andrieu Anthony°
went together with friends for an extended lunch. what you directly see is that the place is maintained, clean an pleasant. starting up with a delicious apetizer of some coffee cream and nuts mixture, greatly made!, we ordered 4 different entries and plates. the freshly made cheese crokettes were a little flat as taste , but all the rest was great. I had an irish steak. tasted good. It s more then a basic restaurant, but its not a Michelin either but the price compared to the quality is good and you get a good value for your money. Accompanied with the friendliness of the chef, its definitely worth to go here. I surely will be going back once day...
