We each had the Rouladen --- the portions were huge and very tasty. The Rouladen was served with mashed potatoes and a beet salad which complimented the Rouladen.
The waiter made suggestions before we made our meal choice.
We will return!! Although it is to the expensive side.

The pizza was OK but nothing extraordinary. Although the toppings were good, the crust was too thick and soggy on the bottom. The service was very slow and the server unfriendly. The outside patio had a lot of wasps and inside the restaurant was full of flies. Not a very appetizing place the day we were there.

I've tried tp stop in whenever I've been in the Bragg Creek area. Might be hiking in Kananaskis or taking a few pictures along the highway. Very nice stop. Casual and friendly, obviously popular with the locals.

Like a picture from old. Nestled on a side street of Bragg Creek we found a glorious beef meat pie. It's exactly what it should be ..... No indistinguishable smells or tastes. pure food.
Word of caution do not let them pop it in the microwave. Take it home and warm it in the oven. You will not be disappointed
We bought two. Way too much. And I wished we would have got the chicken pie also. I suspect it wound be as tasty.
The prices are reasonable. The prices were not more than the market can take. The food is true no hint of fillers and additives. Not mass produced. Therefore it will be pricier. And I personally support it
Now the bakery side was no more than fare from M&M meats. Sausage rolls were bland. And the buns I bought were ...truthfully I don't know how many days old
I will defiantly go back for the meat pie; therefore my high rating is for the meat pies and average for the rest

After an all night drive from Maple Creek SK. The Cinnamon Spoon served up a black n bold Good Morning Coffee. I recommend the Pacific Sandwich with smoked salmon. They give a generous amount of thinly sliced salmon. Turn off TransCanada on to 22X out by Gleichen, follow to Bragg Creek. It's a beautiful drive through acreages, forest and Valleys

The Italian Farm House was born out of our passion for Italian food and their way of life. It is a reminiscent of a cozy Tuscan farmhouse snuggled in the trees in the beautiful hamlet of Bragg Creek.
I liked this place. Lets get to important stuff, like the food. I had roast duck it was very good but some people may not like it medium rare, but was very juicy and tender. Lamb chops looked good to. The sea food ravioli was also good as I had to sample that as well. Prices were reasonable as you got a good plate full. Not to impressed that they add %18 tip on your bill if you have table of 6 or more. So be careful not to double tip.

I know of no other establishment that serves the twisted dog. Basically it's a sausage on a stick with a potatoe spiralled around the outside. This is deep fried to a golden brown, sprinkled with cheese after the fryer and spiced to your liking, my favorite is Cajun spice. If you are craving something sweet after the twisted dog, try their deep fried elephant ears, delicious.

My wife and I stopped in for some lunch and a drink. We were welcomed as soon as we came through the door. We both chose the reuben Sandwich. Our drinks were served quickly and the reubens came shortly thereafter. The sandwiches were excellent.
I noted a couple of things that perhaps could improve. The chairs around empty tables were not put neatly back in place as well as the stools along the counter. Tables were not cleaned off and wiped down as soon as patrons would leave. The bistro wasn't busy and it appeared as if there was a little too much chit chat amongst the serving staff rather than attending to required duties.
A little more attention to detail in needed (especially when the owner is absent). Otherwise it was very enjoyable.

I ran in to grab two cups of cappuccino to go. I appreciate that there were two staff and they had other orders to do.....some for food. It took soooooooooo long to get my coffees!! It honestly felt like I was there 15-20 minutes. .......and why did the couple who came in behind me receive their coffees before mine? I didn't want to be "that" person so I didn't say anything to the poor guy working there. Finally got my coffees.......back in car and driving away...........and they were disappointingly awful. Watery. I wanted to go back and get our money back, but my husband was too tired of the time already wasted. Won't go back.

I'll start by saying I gave it a rating of 1 because of the servers. The food on the other hand, was probably the most disappointing meal we have had. I should have known when the place was empty at supper on a Saturday night. The gumbo was a flavorless chicken and rice soup. We also had their brisket meal, again flavorless. The 5 very thin slices of brisket came with cornbread and 2 sides, (potato salad and coleslaw was my choice) again tasteless. In my opinion very little passion went into creating these meals.
Prices are off the wall. The soup was 12$ and the brisket 24$. You get more meat on a 6" sub at subway and you will be more satisfied.
Shame on you for calling yourself a Texas BBQ restaurant.
