Set in a beautiful location overlooking the bay, we had a table for five and a good experience in every way. Enjoy the sound of whistling frogs to accompany the good dining.
The location is backed by greenery, so we used insect repellent instead of perfumes, but this is standard advice for any outside location in this area!

So friendly, excellent meal .... be sure to make a reservation. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly and the chef, who took the reservation, was happy to squeeze us in on a very busy night for them. Food was excellent, superb fish dishes.

What a great restaurant and well worth any detour for dinner. Located on the west coast of Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe, in Malendure, near the Jacques Cousteau marine reserve. Very gracious hosts, lovely locale on the water, everything is very comfy and relaxing. And the food is terrific: fresh, fresh seafood, imaginative sauces, and wonderful flavours in everything. Highly recommended!

Another resto that left us good memories. Nice service, good food, acceptable prices. Maybe the location isnt great (rather close to the main road) but the ambience created in the garden makes it more than OK and actually quite romantric in the evening. I'd go back.

The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were very nice, but seemed a little overwhelmed at times and we had to wait an inordinate time for drinks. It can get very busy so it is worth making a reservation if you know you are planning to eat here. We loved the food and people and would go here again.

Simple place with average food. Quite chaotic as the tables we not cleared and cleaned after visits. Great setting just near the beach. Reasonable prices and friendly but little professional service.

"Aux 4 Mondes" restaurant offers world kitchen, nice & simple dishes that will make you travel trough your senses. The restaurant is made of different little spaces : a cozy deck, the creole garden, the bar and the dining area. Situated on the west coast of Guadeloupe, Basse-Terre, our customers will be able to have a drink in the evening, in the garden or on our deck, while watching the beautiful sunsets. After that they can move to the dining area to have one of our dishes (16-26€) prepared by our head chef Thierry Palmyre and his team. We also offer Menu formulas for kids and adults. In the evenings the bar opens at 6.30pm and the kitchen from 7 till 10pm. The restaurant opens at lunch time from 12pm till 2pm (not on saturdays). Aux 4 Mondes does take-away as well. LIVE MUSIC every two weeks.
After eating at plenty of delicious, yet beachy type places, the choclatier at musée du café suggested this place. It was awesome! Come check it out and enjoy the chill ambiance and yummy food.

If you make a stop in the french carribean island Guadeloupe, I highly recommand "Chez Hubert". You will taste typical sandwiches of this island called "bokits" (a kind of donut pastry) made of cod, smoked fish prepared by one of the owner's uncle or chicken... You'll also taste some accras which are very light and tasty here and plate of crudities! If you want a typical taste of a Guadeloupe cuisine "Chez Hubert" is a good choice!

Rustic but very friendly beach bar/restaurant. Food is basic but well cooked. Thursday night at 9.00 for music which livens the atmosphere. Well worth a try

From the garden to the plate, Jardin d'Anichi is a table d'hôte not a classic restaurant, so also a private home; it is therefore necessary to book 24 hours in advance and report your arrival. Thank you for your understanding.
First, this is not for faint-hearted drivers. The road is badly decomposed and very steep. But once you get there, you will be greeted by the lovely hostess and chef. The table is set under a large tree in the yard with fine linens and crystal. The chef uses only local ingredients for her menu. The portions are plentiful and she included sorrel juice and flat and sparkling water. We brought our own wine. The chef eats with the table but only speaks French. It was truly a delightful experience.
