This is a local favorite and it’s excellent reputation for good food, service, at very reasonable prices is well earned. The hand tossed pizzas are a favorite. I like to sit near the open kitchen and watch the chefs prepare pizza and pasta dishes which they do with flair. Because of the restaurant’s popularity I recommend Reservations.

Was taken here by a friend and was thoroughly impressed. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious and quite unusual. Would definitely recommend but advise if you want to eat on their Terrace to make a reservation. We both had the three course surprise menu and were really happy with each course. The photo is pork with tomato polenta on a bed of cabbage - yum!.

I came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The door under the "Restaurant" sign was locked (10 minutes to 7pm), so I killed some time walking around, assuming they opened at 7. A few minutes past 7 I returned but the door was still locked! I went down to the hotel door (a few meters away) to ask if the restaurant would be open for dinner and found that the hotel door leads right to the restaurant! I'm sure the surrounding sings probably explain this, but my rudimentary German is "nicht so gut"! So my first tip is to enter via what seems like the hotel entrance. Once inside, it is a very cozy establishment with seats at the bar or in a variety of open and secluded areas. The menu is very comprehensive and looked to have a good variety of meat and veggie dishes. I had the jagerschnitzel and it was excellent! It came with a large portion of pomme frites (French fries) and a fresh garden salad with a dill dressing. I also had a bottle of water and a heffeweisen beer -- all for under €16! I only wish I had room for dessert but the portions were very generous. The town is pretty quiet but the restaurant had steady business. There is also a grocery store across the street for other items you may need. It is within walking distance from the Domane Walberberg hotel (about a 12 minute walk).

Ended up by chance in Merten and indeed in Restaurant Zagreb, our luck! Everything about this eatery is first class, the service is excellent, food albeit slightly too salty is supreme, decor and ambiance perfect and prices brilliant value for money. Worth a side-trip from Cologne or Bonn.

Do book in advance if you're in Bonn and looking for a great meat feast. El Tarascon is a delightful Argentinian restaurant basement level serving really delicious choice of steaks as well as chicken, lamb and pork. The staff were extremely friendly and service very good. Needless to say the meats were cooked to perfection

We found this great little place through some local friends who actually had their wedding here, and have fallen in love with it. The chef is Portuguese and fantastic and his wife and brother both work in the restaurant. The service is always excellent. They remember you when you return. The fresh fish and oysters are always my favorite. The tapas are great try to calamari or dates in bacon! Great place, wonderful patron overlooking Bonn in the summer. You will be happy you stopped by.

The restaurant is located in an old building in the centre of one of the villages that forms Bornheim. The bosses, a young couple, are nice and the dishes are yummy. I found a little bit expensive though. I had “Rheinischer Sauerbraten” which was very delicious. My friend had a steak which was delicious too.

The venue is the restaurant of a Tenis club. They have an inside and large outside dining area. We sat outside and the decoration was beer garden like. The menu is quite large with a lot of different food. We had rabbit Andalusian Style and a 250 g steak. The food was good to delicious. On side we had homemade Sangria which was good. The place was really packed but food and service was really quick and charming.

This is a nice restaurant, not too big, with a small Terrace (roadside). The food is really good and inexpensive. It reminds of asian food but it's not quite like the more common asian dishes. Not (too) spicy. Also several vegetRian dishes. Definitely try the...MoreWe are happy to hear that you enjoyed our food. Thank you!

We've been here a couple of times and brought friends the last time. They also enjoyed it. Even the one who is not into Indian dishes, liked it!
We usually order the set menu as it got drinks, appetizers, main dish and dessert. They also got a vegetarian option. They also ask if you want it spicy and how or not spicy at all. Just a tip, the set menus are actually big enough for an additional one or two persons.
The staff are friendly! The place is not that big and as the chairs are also big and bulky, it makes the place look smaller. The wallpaper and decorations are too much for me but I love the food, so I don't mind.
One critical thing is the restroom. It should really be cleaned up!!! I was told the women's room is worse. I hope they do something about it.
