Visited with my wife in September. We found this recommended on trip advisor, and were not disappointed.
We didn't book, but the friendly owner was very accommodating in making sure we had a table in no time.
The menu is plentiful of local Dalmatian cuisine, the fishermans supper and steak are good choices.
We opted for a starter, but it would appear that this is not necessary as the Salad bar of local Salad and veggies is included and most people used this in replacement of starter.
We also had the house white wine which was superb and complimented the fish supper well.
A lovely restaurant, a little of the beaten track but with bucketfuls of character and a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

The best pizza we ever tried. Thin crust with quality ingredients makes this pizza incredibly delicious. The ambient is nice with a beautiful view over the sea with the island Hvar in the background. Unfortunately, the service could be much better especially for such high prices. The menu is printed with standard font without love in the layout, my knife was blunt and there are no cloth napkins.

Offers breakfast, lunch, dinner
Beautiful food, fabulous view, very attentive and professional staff. Attention to detail even with individually folded linen napkins-tuxedo for men and stiletto shoe for women. We very much enjoyed our delicious dinner in this wonderful restaurant. Thank you.

Restaurant 'Mali Raj (Little Paradise)' in Bol on the island Brac is located in a wonderful location directly above the beach Zlatni rat. It is easily accessible by car, following the road to the famous beach 'Zlatni Rat'. The restaurant is built of stone, positioned inside an old olive grove with ancient olive trees and vineyards. Carefully selected details of the island's heritage, will give you unforgettable moments of the original Dalmatian cuisine and relaxation. Our menu is based on traditional Dalmatian cuisine. Besides the classi appetizers and main courses we offer recipes of fish, seafood and meat as well as various types of tartar, carpaccio and buzara. To recommend is our grill - whether it is grilled fish or grilled various meat delicacies. Enjoying the sea, olives and a glass of good wine... Our wine list offers a wide selection of quality wines that will satisfy the desires of our guests.
I'm sorry but not sure what the raves are about. Worst lunch we had so far: fish and chicken were inedible. Even the rice was funky. How can you ruin food like this?

Our hotel recommended this little konoba and we were happy with the tip. The Terrace overlooking the sea is lovely and I think we got the best table! The food was tasty but I think we should have had fish instead of meat, as my lamb was a little overcooked and from the other reviews on TA, it seems customers were happier with the fish dishes. However everything else was good, especially the grilled vegetables, the Dalmatian ham and local cheese starter and the pancake, the service fast and friendly and the price reasonable! If we ever go back to Bol, I'd definitely go again to try their fish!

Hadn't booked on our first night in town so went here on the basis of a mention in the Lonely Planet an proximity.
Mistake.
As expensive as Riva but with much lower quality. Restaurant characterfully decorated and competently served - but prices are crazy for the quality and our food and drink varied from mediocre to misleading to [possibly] fraudulent.
Seafood risotto? You don't expect something great, but this was rice with what tasted like frozen prawns.
Pork fillet covered in dark brown gloop that looked like an American attempt at salad dressing or really cold bisto.
I could go on but won't beyond mentioning that the ordered Stena Plavac was replaced - without mentioning this - with another local wine and my attempt at asking for tap water was turned down on the basis that they "needed all the jugs for wine".
At prices of 120-400kn per main this is not acceptable. I suspect I'm still acclimatising to the quality and prices of Bol - but if I'm paying more than I do in London for genuinely mediocre food then this town needs to sort out it's restaurants quickly or it'll loose business.

The restaurant was busy, nice inside. The service was great, very friendly efficient, but the food was very average and overpriced. The fish platter the next table ordered looked good but ours was pretty small and not that tasty. Even the bread didn't taste of very much. The wine we had though was really nice so perhaps we ordered the wrong thing....

Following reviews I seen on trip advisor this was one of the restaurants we wanted to visit whilst staying in Bol. On first arrival the restaurant was full and we sat and waited for 10 minutes for table which was fine. The food was really very nicely cooked with myself and my partner both having steaks which took quite a bit of time to come probably because it was extremely busy but it was worth it. They were beautifully cooked and very tender so no complaints. We booked whilst we were there to come along a few nights later and we had the squid starter which was lovely however we waited probably around a further hour for our main course to arrive which we felt was a bit excessive particularly as the restaurant was not full with two tables of around 20 - 30 people getting the full attention who did not come in till after we arrived and were served their main course quite a bit of time before us which I thought was bad management on the restaurants part. When it did eventually arrive we both really enjoyed it. Overall the restaurant serves very nice rustic food which we both enjoyed and would return to if we stayed in Bol again.
