Fish Restaurant on the harbour's edge.

Literally in the grounds of an Opet petrol station (lol) just outside of Milas, heading towards Bodrum. This family-run business offers good quality home-cooked food and fast and efficient service. A little pricey due to out-of-town traffic I suspect being their main clientele. Excellent food though.

We sat here every evening and had a beer when we arrived in güllük for our evenings out. Staff are always welcoming and bring the drinks to your table. The nicest thing for me was the American guy that runs it looks after some of the Street dogs taking in donations for dog food and biscuits. It's a lovely place to sit right next to the harbour although it can get a little fraught times with the dogs chasing cars! Certainly be happy to visit again if we return to the area which we are hoping to do.

We are trying to make your holiday better.
If you're in gulluck go to Cheers for the best welcome and genuine friendliness. Levent who owns it is a gentleman and if you can find a better burger in the area please post where? A lovely place of sanity amongst the false handshakes you...MoreNice to meet you. Thanks for your comment.

Made a detour to return to Gulluk purely to eat the meatballs again! A lovely, family run business serving tasty, good food along on the main front. Many thanks also for recommending a hotel.

This little restaurant comes alive at night and is set in a very pretty part of the village on the waters edge. You will definitely require a reservation when wanting to eat here. The sea food was exceptional and if you like calamari then you won't be disappointed, the best we have ever tasted. The table service and the friendly nature of the workers is also something of note, we were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. I will say that if you want cheap and cheerful or you are on a tight budget then this place may not be for you, by British standards it is still by no means expensive but you will pay that little bit more in comparison to many of the other restaurants in the area. The bus runs throughout the area and it will cost you 2 Lira per direction, otherwise a taxi is about 14. Lots of bread on the table is great for feeding the fish as well whilst you eat.
This place comes highly recommended.

We had some time to kill before our flight so we decided to find a fish restaurant and just randomly chosed Lagun. What a delight. We sat by the sea side. because of the time of the day they didnt have much to choose from but, the shrimps were big and tasty, the calamari also good. But the "lokum" OMG. The owner/cook offered and we said yes. It was oh so delicious. You should try it.

We visited Guvercinlik a couple of times. It is a fishermen village just off the dual carriage way from Bodrum to Milas Airport. Drive in carefully as the entrance is very narrow, 1 car at a time even though a 2way road.
Kara Balik is a lovely restaurant offering few options for fish and seafood, staff is friendly and polite they are very willing to serve you as well as possible but they speak barely any English so but be prepared to be creative as u communicate.
We had a type of mezze and grilled fish as main with salad. Then we had icecream and baklava for pudding.
They bring u bread while u wait and if u get a table by the sea, u can feed the fish there! My daughter loved this.
Very good, tasty dinner, well prepared, clean, but it's simple.
