Salamis (/ˈsæləmɪs/; Greek: Σαλαμίνα Salamína, Ancient and Katharevousa: Σαλαμίς Salamís), is the largest Greek island in the Saronic Gulf, about 1 nautical mile (2 km) off-coast from Piraeus and about 16 kilometres (10 miles) west of Athens. The chief city, Salamina, lies in the west-facing core of the crescent on Salamis Bay, which opens into the Saronic Gulf. On the Eastern side of the island is its main port, Paloukia, in size second in Greece only to Piraeus, the port of Athens.

It's a beautiful Resteraunt you can choose either ally or our beautiful sea balcony it's the oldest Resteraunt in ANDROS it's a family business three generations . You will tast our wonderful ANDROS local food ,with our local products .
We looked at this place mid morning and were encouraged to book a table for the evening, we declined. We did walk back in the evening to an all but empty restaurant and took a pavement table - not being aware of sea view sets,...MoreSorry that you were not satisfied, but the beef stifado how else is it to be served beef with baby onions ? Maybe next time you should call the owner and we would of explained,

The Kantouni is easily the best place in Batsi for good, wholesome traditional Greek home cooking. All sorts of excellent things - chicken in the oven with delicious spuds, lovely mousaka, small fish, a good Greek salad with local cheese, etc. Plus some surprising specials such as seafood risotto and top-quality fresh fish. All served with good humour by Georgos! This year we asked for a special dinner party for about 16 people to be laid on, and it was just lovely - we had a wonderful time. And there's always the lovely view over Batsi Bay... paradise!

The Dolphins restaurant is located in Andros in the beautiful seaside village of Batsi just above the sea road at the top of the double stairs. It's a family business operating since 1986. Enjoy traditional greek dishes, homemade specialities of Andros, a wide variety of seafood and more! Enjoy our house wine on the Terrace overlooking the yacht harbour and with a panoramic view of Batsi bay.
Dropped in for a meal following a flotilla of boats which had just arrived in the harbour, swamping all the local restaurants!
Despite the pressure, service was great, as usual with personal , friendly service from the owners.
Meal for four, including starters, wine, beer and dessert, totalled under 60e for another bargain meal with spectacular views over the harbour.
Great on all fronts, will be back soon!

A million dollar view towards Kea/Tzia, Evoia and other Cycladic Islands. When going bring a jacket or sweatshirt as when it's blowing it can get cold. Weak wifi signal outside. Very nice zucchini balls, not oily despite being deep fried. Chopped grilled liver was good and I am not a fan of liver. Home cooked bread with sesame and fennel seeds was very tasty. The Greek salad with soft Andros cheese, summer purslane, tomatoes, cucumber and onions. The rooster in red sauce with spaghetti was historic, buttery pasta just over al dente (the way I like it) and well cooked meat.
The only let down to the place is the poor wine list (barrelled oxidised wine and some hatzimichalis). They also sell their own cheese, sausages and a mix of meats for local omelette froutalia. Worth the detour for sure!

Very good food on all counts; great starters, huge, delicious steaks, even better with the custom made peppercorn sauce, washed down with a couple of bottled mythos and a jug of house red, delicious!
Fantastic views over Batsi harbour and fast service made for a great night out, even if a little more expensive Han several of the other local restaurants at 40e per couple, but worth every penny, we will return!

the best restaurant we went to in Andros! Excellent food, reasonably efficient service and nice central location. We went twice in six days. I would have given it a five star overall grade but for the difficulties faced by the service in the tourist high season.

Exploring new horizons in cuisine without leaving the charms of the past behind, our philosophy blends contemporary and traditional elements in a celebration of Greek/Mediterranean cuisine and atmosphere. Our rapid success in becoming the stylish yet affordable "in spot" here in Korthi is a testament to both our philosophy and the unexpected flavors that we greet you with in the morning and throughout the day into the evening.
The food is very fine and very well presented. I don't think you can find anything similar somwhere else on the island. The outside terrasse in the small squadre under the tree's pergola is very pleasant.
