Absolutely gorgeous and the food amazing, we went there as a friend recommended and we are not disappointed, can get very busy so arrive early.
Food was fantastic, freshly cooked and served very well, you can ask for half portions if not a big eater and they will charge accordingly.
No Fault

Located at Serra D'El Rey (near Peniche - Portugal), and inspired by the traditional French brasseries and Portuguese Breweries of the beginning of the 20th century, Tribeca is an elegantly relaxed, welcoming space where the decor, the music and the food go hand in hand to create the most delightful atmosphere to enjoy with your friends, even after the meal. You can experience our specialties and drinks at the dinning room, the balcony or even at the outdoor patio where you will be treated to sunny lunches and pleasant summer nights at dinner. As Portuguese tradition meets other gastronomies, especially mediterranean influences, you will find yourself falling in love with our unique cuisine, rich both in flavours and variety. Fish, seafood, meat, as well as risottos and pasta, can be paired with any wine from our extensive list, although we always highlight those of our region. And to make your choice even harder, there are always several suggestions for starters, dishes or drinks.
We like to eat in the best restaurants. Every week we lunch or dine out twice a week. So, we know many Portuguese restaurants. Tribeca is by far the best restaurant in central Portugal (from south Aveiro down to North of lisbon), considering inland and seaside areas. Because of all the love put into the service: the food, the way the staff compliments the clients, etc. Absolutely perfect!

We went for lunch without a reservation and were lucky. Ordered the mixed seafood platter for 4. Had excellent bread and wine while waiting for the dish. Could not believe how big it was when it arrived. Loaded with prawns, crab (2 types), mussels, oysters, langoustine, Portuguese sea snails, and barnacles. All four of us loved every bite. On top of that, the wait staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. One waiter even taught me the best way to get crab meat out of the shell by demonstrating with one of their crabs. It was a fantastic meal and after we paid the bill, he even gave two of us a small bottle of wine to go. Couldn't recommend more highly!

We loved our dinner at this restaurant.
The food is honest and hearty, portions are big and well prepared. It is a great place to come with families as the hostess truly does have the mostest! She was wonderful with the children and always smiling, charming and making us feel comfortable.
The pizzas are big and delicious, our kids could easily share and still have some takeaway!
The squid was perfect and my wife's steak in Gorgonzola cheese sauce was delicious.
A great family run restaurant that focuses on creating a wonderful atmosphere and serving delicious food ;)

Brazilian style Picanha is the stand out for this restaurant. Mixed reviews of other dishes within our party mean that I cant give it the 5 the Picanha deserves, but awesome food, 3 medium sized steaks cooked beautifully, served on a hanging skewer.
Service was a little slow, but the restaurant was heaving with over 150 diners. When you come to choose the location for your holiday steak meal - this is a true blow out!!

Visited this family run establishment this lunchtime after Reading the reviews and was not disappointed. We were welcomed by the waiter (son) and shown to our table. Whilst reviewing the menus we given bread and .an assortment of local cheeses and pates which was a very nice appetiser. We ordered an octopus salad, grilled sardines and grilled squid and a litre of the house red wine. The octopus and squid came with a dish of excellent boiled potatoes and carrot and the sardines with a large plate of salad. All the seafood was superb, fresh and cooked to perfection and very tasty ( cooked by ma and pa ) We apologised to the waiter as we could not manage the salad. All in all some of the best seafood we have had in many a year. The bill came to an amazing €32:50.

Located in Praia do Molhe Leste, just besides the worldwide known Supertubos beach, in Peniche, Xakra Beach-Bar, aims to become the spot to go, for those who enjoy relaxing in the beach...That's right, we really are that close to the sea (!) GPS Coordinates Latitude 39`29`59,96`N Longitude 9`21`54,74`W At Xakra Beach-Bar while you enjoy a breathtaking view with amazing sunsets, you can taste our specialties, which range from the modern appetizers, seafood, our fish soup and the most typical dishes, such as, Fish Stew, Whelks Stew, Octopus in the oven with corn bread among many others, always accompanied by your favorite drink, be it an ice cold beer, a freshly squeezed juice, or one of our selected wines.Xakra Beach-Bar has been open since 2006 and it is above all... A space with a relaxed atmosphere where you should feel good and will definitely want to return! We are waiting for you!
Xakra is a beach bar which has evolved into a small restaurant, and is so popular (with local people as well as with tourists) that it will probably continue to expand. It is located by the beach, facing west, and so does enjoy beautiful sunset views.
It serves primarily fish and the food is of a very good quality. Three of us went with two Portuguese friends in September 2017 and all had excellent meals. I had the breaded cod, which was as good as I have eaten anywhere else. It is run by a local man and wife team and their service was excellent.
So, if you are in Peniche, give it a try. But it does get busy, so it might be best to book. One small word of caution, the restaurant is reached by using a boardwalk from the car parking area. After sunset, this boardwalk can get a bit slippy - so you need to be careful!

I went to this place twice in the same week just because the waiters were incredibly nice and friendly. They bring right away a couple of appetizers such as octopus salad, shrimp, olives bread and butter. However you may not want to eat a lot...MoreThank you for your comment. Is customers like you that make us continuing and trying to be every day even better.

Pequeno restaurante de inspiração na cozinha italiana, como alternativa ao excelente cozinha portuguesa
We decided to try this place one evening when we did not find another restaurant open. It was a very good decision as everything was spot on:
Pizza - amazing, super tasty and gourmet I could say
Wines - great selection and the house wine was really top quality
Atmosphere - super cosy and super friendly staff
We ended up returning for a 2nd evening here which is highly unusual for us as we love seafood and fish and we thought we would not eat anything else but these during our stay.
Truly loved it (and I am not a pizza fan) :)

A Classic to taste some great seafood and fishes with a great view on Baleal beach The only downside is that the place is quite noisy and the service a bit rushed especially in the evening...
