The food was yummy, good Greek tavern cuisine. The service was great even though the restaurant was pretty busy. They offer tsipouro and dessert at the end which is really amazing and we were all greatly pleased especially since by experience in most touristic places they care about taking your money without making an effort. This place is a great exception and it is highly recommended.

A delightful restaurant, in historic surroundings. I was pleasantly surprised at the unique dishes offered , along with traditional Greek food. The Moroccan beet salad was delicious and full of flavour. Zucchini balls were prepared perfectly, not oily. Greek french fries, always a favorite, were dusted with oregano and a hint of lemon. Unable to finish the meal, it was as packaged up to take away.
A plate of sliced apples, with cinnamon and a drizzle of honey was complimentary at the end of the meal. The servers were attentive and friendly.
A magical place, I will return to experience other dishes!

As an ice cream lover, I can only recommend Koustenis. First of all, because their ice cream is very good (the best in town according to local people, but I must admit I didn't try every ice cream shop in town :-) ). But we were also very kindly welcomed by Kiki who runs this shop with her sons. Her family is in the ice cream business for several generations, and we hope they will be for generations to come.

Had a great waffle cone here with vanilla and chocolate chip gelato... or ice cream? I don't know which it was but it was good! Cheap prices, too. Small cone, 1 scoop (which was generous), 1.50 euro. WOW. This pizza was amazing!! We had Caesar and Carbonara. They were both incredible. Prices, quality of food and service were all great! The food came very quickly. Our server was very friendly and spoke great english. We would love to come back here again one day. If you get the chance you should definitely visit this restaurant!

Unbelievable scenery, an "overground" cave made of "reinforced gypsum"; a bit claustrophobic with good ventilation. As smoking is allowed (against the relevant Law...) the non-smoking people can breath, due to good ventilation! Interesting local food, mainly the grilled chicken with white sauce and the lamb in the oven. Good service, only local wines are served (below average),... I am not sure if we shall revisit...

I have visited twice and I will definitely go again. I enjoyed the music, the staff is polite and attentive, coffee is really good. I highly recommend it.

Good and fairly priced fish from the grill
Excellent wine list with high quality wines and proper glasses – this is not standard in fish tavernas
Fly in the ointment?
Tax evasion is still endemic in Greece after we paid and left we found that the printed check was only about half of the handwritten one we had paid- sad because everything else was nice and we enjoyed the evening but this cost two stars

We really enjoyed our meal here . Really wonderful building , ambience, good service, varied menu .
I have however marked it down from excellant because that in this lovely place there was the manager/ owner sitting smoking at a table along side the kitchen.
Apart from that it was lovely .
