Anjuna is among the most famous beaches in India. Popularly known for its Hippie culture, most people's reasons for coming to Anjuna are the same as they were in the 1970s. On Wednesdays, the famous flea market of Anjuna, a major shopping hangout beside the beach, opens for business. Bathing is generally safer at Anjuna than at most of the other beaches. Taking long walks and watching sunsets are among the favorite pastimes of visitors at Anjuna. Anjuna has emerged as a destination for rave parties and that take place over here from time to time, especially around the Christmas-New Year full moon period.

A lovely spot with genuinely helpful staff. Our favourite lunch of Masala papad, Goan fish curry (chunky white fish), rice and fresh roti with cold Kingfishers was always served promptly with a smile. No intrusive music, just a consistently enjoyable and relaxing experience. Sunbeds, showers, loos all available.

We ate at Jamie’s several times and always enjoyed it. The menu is very extensive, with a choice of Indian, Chinese and European dishes. The food was always good, staff were polite and attentive and there’s a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Prices were very good too!

I mean compared to the rest of India this Goa is all super expensive.
Had a goan prawn curry which I was told was nice and coconutty so thought it wouldn't be too spicy... it was like fire. My mouth was so sore by the end which ruined it some what.
Breakfast I had fruit salad with musli and curd which was nice but the full English looked soo good. Shame we didn't have it!
All the cafe do the same kind of stuff in Goa and all fairly similar standard.

Thalassa is now an iconic destination in Goa. Very famous and thats why always always there is rush. Especially near the sunset time. Hence always book your table - extra haggling for the seats closest to the cliff. Food is great - try the pizza...MoreHi Partha, Thank you for your review. We do our best to better ourselves every single day... Really glad you had the food as well as the sunset as a moment to cherish during your visit... Hope to see you back with us soon...

Good food. Service is bad. In order to make an impact, you need well trained staff, not ones you get for low cost. Went out of patience and cancelled last order. Same issue with some of the others. Did not see sny manager. Bakery person doubled up as manager. Need to seriously improve service else you never know your name may get spoiled..

In the sunny beach state of Goa there is a special place called Artjuna Garden Cafe and Lifestyle Shop. Established in an old portuguese house surrounded by a beautiful garden, this location has developed into a popular and trendy place.... With a large outdoor cafe, lifestyle shop, event area, workshop space and kids play ground, Artjuna is truly worth a visit. Artjuna began as a dream of Moshe and his wife Anastasia. The vision of having a special place to set up a workshop and exhibit their unique hand made leather bags, belts, pouches and jewellery designs. They created a space where they could display other art designers, as well as sit, talk and enjoy with friends and customers. In the last 10 years Moshe and Anastasia have developed a beautiful range of products for the Artjuna Lifestyle Shop. Inspired by the spirit of India, their creations into a global fusion design. The garden cafe is a lively and vibrant place with a welcoming atmosphere. Filled with mango trees and frangipani flowers, the garden grows colourful and lush. There is plenty of space to enjoy delicious and healthy food, meet up with friends, chill out and enjoy the excellent library. Artjuna is open for all day breakfast, lunch and light dinner. The food is fresh and contemporary, with a great choice of salads, sandwiches and popular dishes from the Mediterranean cuisine. Make sure you try one of our beloved coffee delights, home made cakes and tempting cookies. We hope to see you soon.

The Rasa restaurant impresses almost immediately by having quality tablecloths (not common in Goa) and a reasonably spacious Seating arrangement. They cater for breakfasts, lunches and dinner plus having a whole range of snacks available at almost any time of day.
The service and attention was impeccable but also very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent both in quality and presentation, which was imaginative without being excessively showy. For us the portion sizes were also just right - I hate leaving food but also dislike being overfilled with food; the judgement was spot on.
Prices are very reasonable and competitive, as they have to be in Goa, but the quality of the ingredients wasn't compromised to match the cost. In the evenings the restaurant is very popular, deservedly so; it may be wise to make an advanced booking or, failing that, to get there early.
(The only minor negative that I could mention is that on one evening when we were there a large group (Brits) occupying a table right in the middle of the restaurant insisted upon smoking, despite "no smoking" signs being displayed. They were clearly spending quite a bit of cash so the staff were reluctant to correct them. We were moved to a more smoke-free area immediately, upon request. I blame the diners completely for their selfishness and ignorance.)

Bean Me Up, is a popular restaurant is Goa, serving wholesome, organic and lip smacking vegan meals. We have an extensive variety in the cuisine we offer and are most popular for our salads, fresh juices and entree.
Great vegan food in a lovely setting! I came here with a friend and was surprised by the size of the menu and the variety of food on offer. If anything it was a little overwhelming as so many things sounded good and I didn't know what to go for! I had the vegetable pizza with rucola and vegan cheese and it was amazing- large and extremely tasty and creamy
My friend ordered the portobello mushroom burger and said that it was also great. If you are vegan/veggie and in the area you should definitely come here!

Food was outstanding here, and the service was quick and efficient, very friendly staff. I was advised to book a table. Had the olive starter and honey crispy chicken for starters to share and chateaubriand for main which was delicious and tender. Probably my favourite restaurant in baga. They do take credit/debit cards.
