We went to Mythos on a Saturday afternoon for lunch last week (January). There was open fire in the restaurant which made the atmosphere very cosy.
The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. The service was first class and the venue was nice, clean and new. There is a small play area for kids outside (comes handy for families with small kids).
Even though the restaurant is not facing the sea (it is actually next to the main road), it is well isolated from the noise. The quality of food and service compensate for the lack of views.

Used to travel in Greece, if we need a quick and good meal, we eat at a greek restaurant with "souvlaki me pita", but this time, during our visit of the Appollon's coast, we discovered in the city of Anavyssos (thanks to your website) the restaurant snac bar Kaffeine.
The waitresses are kind and nice. They advise us to order a greek "pikilia". So we tasted this great salad with a tremendous "pilkilia" (appetizer with beans, tzatziki, greek cheese,...). The expresso, at the end of the meal, was one of the best we had in Greece. It was served with a little cake.
The owner Despina offered us a delicious cake, bought on the pastry store next to the restaurant.
We recommend you this snack restaurant where Despina, Pandelis and the staff Artemis and Helene are waiting for you.

The atmosphere is very authentic Greek, the food very tasty - we only had fish and sea-food, the open wine was good and the owner was good humoured and friendly. I can strongly recommend this place. Locals had recommended the restaurant and most of the visitors were locals, so the price range was quite modest.

We have only ordered take away, from time to time, and it has quite fast service, helpful staff and nice food. Not something to remember, but a nice choice at a fair price, in comparison to other similar places in the area. I would definitely recommend it!

Fresh small fish and seafood, fried or grilled, such as sardines, pilchard, octopus, mussels, crabs, breams, bogues, cod and more. Try fresh mussels teriyaki, marinated pilchard, taramosalata, prawn guvetsi, seafood spaghetti, grilled arrow squid and more. Sea view inside out. House wine and "tsikoudia" available, ouzo, tsipouro, beers. Credit cards accepted. No Reservations. Free parking.
Psarou, on the main road from Athens to Sounion, is a well-deserved stop after an afternoon swim. The restaurant was full on what is the quietest weekend of the year, with everyone away for the holiday of August 15.
The staff is courteous and the service attentive. Appetizers come on a platter for diners to pick what they wish: the smokey eggplant salad and the buttery tarama salad are both highly recommended.
There is a plethora of choices for seafood, including mussels, baby calamari, baby shrimp, and the catch of the day. Everything is fresh and well prepared. There is no dish costing more than 10 Euro. House wine is excellent.
Complimentary ice cream is the perfect treat after such a delightful meal.

Lithoinon Private 16 is a different dinning philosophy, it's a meeting place of culinary delights. Here are combined and coexist harmonically: - The unique cellar that accommodates in appropriate aging conditions scarce vintage labels and rare varieties from both the international and the Greek vineyard. - The dining room, in the cellar, built with simple luxury that accommodates exclusively 16 persons. - The "walk-in humidor" made of Spanish cedar, which has a fully updated selection of Cuban cigars, preserved in ideal temperature and humidity conditions. - The "alcohol corner" with an interesting collection of Cognac, Armagnac, Grappa, Eau de vie, Rum, Single Malts and some very special cocktails. - The Salumeria, which accommodates high quality hams from Italy and Spain, as well as particular cheese varieties both imported and from various parts of Greece. - The "DRY AGER", which accommodates top quality beef from almost all over the world aging in different levels, in perfectly controlled and UV protected conditions of temperature and humidity. Private 16 is a special "idea". In a place of unique aesthetics, our guests can enjoy the ultimate combination of a high quality wine and dining experience in a very cozy and warm environment. Hospitality is perceivable from the most meticulous details of the place to the always warm welcome of the owner and the Private 16 team. The real gastronomic delight is achieved if we add to the above a unique quality menu with Mediterranean influences, which is always adjusted to seasonality of raw materials and prepared in a Spanish JOSPER charcoal oven. The harmonic food and wine pairing has personally undertaken the owner Giannis Vassiliadis, offering generously to his guests all his extensive experience and knowledge about wine. The dinner can be perfectly completed with the enjoyment of a special distillate from the LITHOINON alcohol corner and a particular cigar from our Cuban collection. The place is available either for three separate companies, or - upon request - for one entire company, for special occasions and business meetings. We are expecting to welcome you in LITHOINON Private 16 and we promise to offer you the enjoyment of a particular taste and wine experience in a highly sophisticated and warm place. Note: The restaurant is suitable for children over 15 years.
It recently happened to us to pay a visit to this restaurant, which was always considered by us just as a "cava" (wine shop). The sorprise was really big when we entered this very small, peculiar, cosy and chalet style environment. The wooden type tables are only few and they are almost totally serrounded by wine shelves. The owner (Yiannis), very kindly, took us around his dininig premises and very pruodly presented us his collection of wines and "grappas". After that, we got our food, including a very delicious steak. The dinner ended with some offered sweets.
Very good!
The price is in line with the high quality of the food.
It deserves to pay a visit to this nice restaurant, but, due to its small size, a reservation is a must.

We visit friends every summer at their nearby summer place. And for at least the last 3 years we come to Xi.ma for a late lunch. Lots of grilled meat and beer make a pleasant time.
