Any taxi driver can take you there, it's well known streets, pretty much in the center of the city.
This is our second time eating at the Parrilladas el Gaucho and once again we were not disappointed. The staff is friendly, the ambience is great and the food was delicious.

I love this place, it is friendly, the food is delicately prepared and the drinks are lovely, I would highly recommend this place for groups or an intimate dinner, they really do try their best to please.

This restaurant seemed like a local favorite- there were several tables celebrating birthdays. The pizza was OK but the ice cream sundaes were elaborate, featuring a lot of fruit and they looked nice.

This restaurant is actually called "Choko Banana". They make chocolate coated bananas which are exquisit. If you are lucky enough to have one that has just been dipped and has not yet been refrigerated you will be in heaven. Nice quality chocolate. Friendly service and you can buy tickets to music events in the area.

The warm wood interior of Quinta Loren has the feel of an hacienda of the 19th century. Some tables have excellent views of the Mountains and, on clear days, the volcano Tungurahua. All of the beef dishes are excellent. Some pork dishes are a bit overcooked but this may just be a customary approach for South America. The only place I've ever had medium rare pork has been in Spain and it was wonderful. Shrimp dishes are usually good but fish (such as Ecuadorian corvina) can be very uncertain. Once the corvina was kind of old frozen fish instead of the fresh corvina that is in local markets every day. Soups, appetizers and desserts are all very good as well.

I went here for my birthday, it seemed nice, looks pleasant, the staff were friendly and the menu requires you to build your burger if you choose to do so, they do have other food available. The burger meat was a ball not a pattie and the add ons were expensive but you literally got one or two onion rings and one of two pickles, it was poor for what you pay, the fries were so stringy and thin, I found it very very expensive for what you get, it is a quick way to kill a restaurant with those prices and that food.

Family style restaurant, wide range of dishes to suit everyone's taste. Well know for it's steaks, parrilladas, pizza and international specialties. Capacity for over 300 people, parking and children's area.
BBQ is really great and comes with exotic ingredients like kidneys and cow's udder. Nevertheless a great experience and the mixed meat and shrimps BBQ for 2 was enough for us four. Service is attentive, prices are relatively high but in accordance with the quality of food and service

Las Gallinas de Pinllo (Pinllo Hens) is the place that rescues the tradition giving tourists and customers in general the rich flavor of the food prepared in a wood oven with an elegant environment and reasonable price
It is not easy to predict how good the chicken will be. Sometimes it's great and sometimes it's dried-out and very ordinary. Oddly enough, "Los Cuyes" on avenida Guaytambo has much better chicken even though it's primarily known for its version of the Andean delicacy "guinea pig".

First of all, a modern decoration! Second, for sport fans, there are some TV sets continuously tunned on sports channels, this make a great stand when you like to share with sporty friends any special match or event. Third, something I like, there are daily promos, there's one for groups on tuesdays (take there the one who has her/his birthday that week). Obviously the Fourth point is food, it is not the glory but is good, some pitfalls in the "opera prima" but you can forgive minor details. For instance the taste I git from "tacos al pastor" was not the best but my inmates got a remarcable seasoning with their dishes. Beverages are sublime, remember to ask the waitress for cold ones, it is better. Hard shell tacos were the best of all. I hope you to have a memorable visit.
