3連休のお昼時に行ったので混雑は覚悟していましたが順番待ちに名前を書いて呼んでもらうシステムでしたが既に5組20人程が並んでいました。
ふと店内を見ると席は半分ほど空いています。
入れるのでは？と思いましたがどうやら厨房に1人、店内に1人でやっておられる様で料理を出したり引き上げたりに全く追い着いて無さそうで、てんてこ舞いの様子でした。
ダシもトッピングも用意が出来てれば出すだけですから時間の掛からない料理だと思いますが待たされてる理由が解りました。
鶏飯自体は味が濃い目でしっかりしていて美味しかったです。

Why eat Italian in Amami Oshima ? was my first thought that crossed my mind
but after consecutive native cuisine, my wife and I were up for it.
Turned out to be quite a positive surprise.
Apart from wanting a wider selection of wine
We loved it !
My particular favourite being their seafood cream pasta with AOSA.

Tried this place after recommended by one of mangrove tour guide. Great chicken rice with that soup stock! We had other dishes like pork on the tice and grilled chopped chicken dish with green onion on the top. Full dished, and the portion isn't small so great if you have a big appetite!
Definitely recommend to try while you are visiting Amami island.

We loved the design and placement of the restaurant but Very Dissatisfied with the pasta and pizza. They served lunch set 1000¥ per pizza/pasta with free bread servings. We added 200¥/person for a drink set and got 100¥ discount when ordered dessert. I loved their fresh squized sugar cane juice 250¥.Delicious fresh tankan juice 400¥.

We ordered the local menu and get keihan und torisashi. First, torisashi is chicken sashimi! Yes, raw chicken. It was really unusual for us but we ate half of it. The keihan was good and the service was really friendly. Up to now they could not speak english. Feel free to try this location!

名瀬にある回転寿司です。
目の前で職人さんが握ってくれます。
人気店のようで、店内は満席でした。
ネバリ、石垣鯛、クロマツと言った地元の寿司が

If you want to try some local only dishes, its all there. Kind staff can also give you some advice on what to try what to have it before you leave Amami. We tried Goat soup, and Chicken rice some other seafood dishes. Plenty of food, we were happy at the end for all these very first time tried local dishes!

とても大きなシュークリームが、イベントで100円でした。焼き鳥が1本100円で美味しそうでしたので、10本購入し二人で食べました。美味しかったので、飽きることもなくっ、早々に完食しました。生卵をお土産に買いました。鳥刺しもうっていました・・・。

We were welcomed in a friendly manner and shown to a table sharing with others. The set course was good, with a variety of dishes to cover the main food groups, including amami osechi, pork ribs, pigs trotters, egg-wrapped onigiri, sashimi, local miso, pickled papaya, and burdock root. It was a lovely evening and worth a visit. Reasonably priced too!

奄美名物『鶏飯』の具材を載せた透明感のあるスープ。見た瞬間にこれは旨そうと感じます。鶏ガラスープの鶏油の旨みにお塩を少々足しただけの味ですが、却って余計な味が邪魔をしないので本当に飲み干せる旨さです。鶏飯よりも気に入りました！
