A very popular restaurant specialising in seafood. The menu is essentially in Spanish with a little English translation. If your Spanish is poor, as mine is, you need to be a little wary of the translations as they are not literal. For example, a breaded fish plate turned out to be a selection of lightly breaded fish, prawns and octopus. All very well cooked but not quite what we assumed.
The service and quality is excellent. The food is very reasonably priced and it was good value for money. Recommended with that caveat.

We have been searching for this restaurant for a while when we look around Aguilas today we found it. We decided to have the menu of the day. There are two prices €8 or €10 for the menu of the day which includes three courses, bread and a drink of your choice. We were so pleased to go today the food was just excellent, quality and quantity. I would recommend this both lunchtime and evenings. The location is okay although not quite like sitting by the sea or the square. The outside Seating is a courtyard. Inside is lovely, the decor is great and a very clean cost tastefully decorated restaurant. We will be going again.

Mid July, inside the main dining room a heat that was unbearable by everyone (Spanish alike)!!! Everyone sweating, and the lucky ones who have a fan spending their lunch flapping their fan to breathe. Aircon if any seams not to work ! Food : standard , poor, many dishes on the menu not available ! No wonder cheap clientele order the basic all in menu at "Euros" 10,- !!! Service slow (2 staff only for 20 tables) .... This restaurant as it calls itself is not prepared to accommodate clientele during Summer months ! From card the prices for the quality given is plain robbery. Returning to this place : never !

This restaurant is a typical Spanish restaurant both with the table and chairs and the tapas food. I have been here numerous times and have not been disappointed always good and very reasonably priced.
It only opens in the evenings and is a long standing family run restaurant.

Been here a few times now and it only gets better. Well prepared and presented food at a reasonable price. The staff are great, and the waitress (Christina ?) is always pleasant and helpful.
As probably the only vegetarian in Aguilas it is sometimes problematical to eat out - but not so at Meson del Willy. Whilst items on the menu are not described as vegetarian there are quite a few excellent choices. My meat eating companions were impressed by their choices as well.
Five out of five. Give it a try.

Heladeria founded in 1978 , located in the city center of Aguilas, with large Terrace in the Plaza of Spain , with cozy interior room with romantic pastel decor , music to enjoy a variety of ice cream flavors , Alacant both the brand as artisans and variety in different slush produced naturally and with the highest quality ingredients.
Delicious and spectacular ice creams, most of the home made, prepared by the master Jose Lajarin and served by his beautiful wife and his also beautiful staff girls, all dressed as pin up girls. You may also enjoy the al fresco Terrace at la Glorieta, full of ambiance and the place to be in the summer nights.

As a curry connoisseur, I thought I would give the only curry house in Aguilas a try. The starters filled me with hope; great sauces, excellent non greasy bhajis, although slightly stale poppadums. Then the mains arrived, the naans were crispy, fresh and tasty albeit a little small but our Madras almost definitely was not a Madras. There was a total of 7 pieces of chicken floating in what only could be described as a tumeric soup completely void of any texture. Our other dish, the lamb balti, was a slight improvement on the texture although took a good minute per piece of lamb to fully chew. Both curries tasted microwaved and not freshly prepared. There clearly isn't any competition here so they've given up trying. I wish I only ordered sundries.
