We visited twice, once for pizza and once for pasta. Pizzas were lovely, but huge - as we couldn't finish we were offered a box to take it away with us - we very much appreciated this, and finished them for dinner later and yes they still tasted good! We went back later to enjoy a huge dish of pasta each, Penne Arrabiata and Pappardelle alla Nonna. Both dishes were as described and were delicious. Service is pleasant and friendly. Highly recommended. The restaurant is up from the lake in Pertisau between the cable car and the church.

Although there are many scrumptious items on the menu, we decided to select the "Backhendl" with warm potato salad. We've eaten this dish hundreds of times in Austria over the last 40 years, but this was the best ever. Friendly, efficient service, good wine selection and pleasant surroundings topped off the evening. For friends of fine full-course menus , this price-winning restaurant is a safe bet.

We count ourselves very lucky that we happened to stop for lunch at this lovely "Wirtshaus". We were driving from Innsbruck to Munich Airport on the last day of our holiday, and decided to go the pretty way. It was a glorious day, so we sat at an outside table and enjoyed excellent char (Saibling) fillets with a very good salad, followed by a cup of coffee. In other circumstances we would have been very happy to have more, and I am very keen to revisit and try "Kaiserschmarr'n", or "Emperor's Mess", which is apparently a speciality.
The service was good and friendly. I didn't try out the waitress (owner?) with English - it probably helps to have some German.
By the way, "Glashuette" or "Glashütte" is the name of the village - the inn is the "Gasthof Glashütte".

We had lunch here once. While this nicely decorated restaurant was packed with guests, many of them families with kids, the service was quick and the food good. However it is no clear which area is for smoker and which for non-smokers if there is any. So while people around the bar smoke freely, many families with kids have to bear with the second-hand smoke.

very characteristic, small log house nearby fish farming where to have smoked trouts or char (forelle or saibling), wine or beer, and some home made cakes. Very limited choice of food, but excellent. Can also stay sitted outside in summer. Really worth the visit. Very kind personnel

We ate at SeeEck every night of our stay, and the food was delicious every evening. The staff spoke english which was helpful when explaining the specials menu which changes daily (no english version). They have an english menu with pictures which was great. The food was exceptional, I would recommend trying the venison as it was amazing. We reserved a table each evening and it was always ready when we arrived, at the weekend it was very busy so I would recommend making a reservation. 4 people eating, 2 starters, 4 mains, 1 dessert (because we were always so full!) and numerous beers & wine was approx 100 euros, and for the quality of the food I thought it was very good value for money. We will definitely return!

It's game season and the menu didn't disappoint nor did the dishes we chose. I had a "wildlebrrkaes"; the side dish of red cabbage was the best I ever had. My partner had a "Tagesmenu." Soup, fish, potatoes, leek, and dessert at a bargain price. And so tasty! We saw different desserts at neighboring tables that all looked fabulous. Fast, friendly service.

With its beautiful setting, excellent cooking and a location near hiking and cross- country skiing paths, the restaurant is a popular spot on weekends. A reservation is highly recommended and on holidays essential.
The staff are as friendly as they are hardworking. The menu always has specialties and standards. This time I chose the terrine of white asparagus wrapped in smoked salmon. The delicate flavors were nicely balanced, and a creamy Bärlauch sauce on the side gave it a bit of a zip. For my main I ordered the Lammkotolettes, nicely on the rare side of medium-rare and accompanied by escalloped potatoes. I also tried a bit of my neighbor’s Bärlauchsuppe, which was very tasty.
They also featured Tegernseer Dunkles Bier and after dinner, their own Schnapserl.
The atmosphere is very gemütlich and the room design is a beautiful classic Bavarian style.
If you are planning a hike it's often difficult to know when you'll turn up. But many such parties who turned up without Reservations were turned away, so be advised! You can always plan for extra hiking time and if you show up early, there's a Forellenzucht down the hill where you can easily kill an hour or so and have a beer or two as well.
