Stretched along the Atlantic Ocean, Ghana's most populous city boasts glittering beaches, monumental buildings, museums, libraries, galleries, traditional markets and lively nightlife. Accra's architecture reflects its colonial history, with 17th century castles standing alongside modern skyscrapers. A veritable melting pot of cultures, the city's central financial and shopping districts contrast sharply with the less affluent residential areas surrounding the urban core.

It took forever for Tapas Fever to hit Western Africa, but this spot in Afrikiko makes up for all those years. As the city's first Spanish tapas bar, Toro Tapas Bar fills a culinary niche. Quintessentially Spanish, our fresh and exciting menu offers something for everyone. With dishes from the sea, the field and the garden our tapas dishes are sincerely Spanish and our paella's always deliver on flavour.
Family evening outing for anglo/ghanaian group. Restaurant quiet at 730 - only two other couples, our table of seven made it much busier! not many more arrived while we were there. Prompt service with drinks, good range of gins at good prices and reasonable range of mainly Spanish wines - although not very cheap. Ordered rose, not told there wasn't any, just brought along a bottle of red. Accepted it, OK wine. Ordered food - helpful waitress, order completed satisfactorily. Then the wait. Only one other table of two served any food while we waited - perhaps 45 mins. Why? Anyway, when it arrived it proved to be worth the wait....English contingent ordered tapas: good size portions, 3 each is enough for our appetites. Our squid order didn't appear although it was charged; rest of the food really good, well cooked and fresher. Tasty beef in a good sauce; crispy aubergine slices in cheese and honey; lightly battered octopus with a green chilli dip etc. Ghanaians had rice with beef/fish and enjoyed theirs. Would very happily eat here again - not a bargain, but good fresh food - but be prepared to wait.

This is a place hard to forget excellent pizza italian stile and atmosphere of mamma mia. You want an amazing pizza? This is the place but not only pizza try the lobster the pasta we have been the best in this for 18 years in Ghana we love what we do and we do it best pizza is art we are the artist
Al-fresco pizza dining at Mamma Mia in Accra is a nice experience, staff are friendly, service is fast and the range of pizzas to choose from extensive, including, traditional, seafood and vegetarian pizzas - as we were with a big group I could see the range served out, as well as other Italian dishes including various pastas and the freshly made tiramizu dessert. Altogether, recommended for those in Accra with an appetite for pizza.

I've become a regular guest over the past 7 years and I've never been disappointed.
A special place that offers consistently excellent Mediterranean cuisine - I'm loving it each and every time.
Owner is super attentive; service could be improved at times. But not worth noting ... I'll be back ;-)

The Venue is a cozy continental restaurant in the heart of East Legon. Our serene atmosphere is conducive for all dining types and our menu satisfies everyone's taste. come dine with us.
Excellent restaurant, with a wide menu, from seafood platter to pizza. Price in the average, but a good bargan for what you will find on the table. The environment is nice, in pure african style. Service attentive and friendly. Not easy to find, and not close to downtown, but you will not regret travelling to reach the place.

The first Thai food restaurant in Osu. It is authentic Thai food prepared by a very nice Thai chef, Priya. Value for money and unbelievably, addictive Thai food. They have all the classics like green curry, red curry, Tom Yum Kung, Tom Ka Kai and Thai salads.
Very unassuming small restaurant away from the major tourist zone. The restaurant was run by a very nice Thai woman. Service was very good some of the fastest service in Ghana. The food was excellent I had chicken Panang curry in medium spice and it was very good one of the best Thai curries I’ve had. If you are sick of local beer they also carry two thai beers. I love this place the food was great and it was clean.

Tripadvisor won't allow a date earlier than Feb 2017. I was there one time during April-May 2016. The sushi is really great but not heavenly if you put the price tag in front. For just eating sushi the place is a bit overdoing.... its like too much for this niche guys. I get it that everything is imported and so on, but hey the quality is still like another place in Accra with much lower prices and faster service.

Kitchen + Bar
This is a favourite with our daughter and spouse. We tend to get the same patio table and basically order the same things. But we keep coming back so this routine is obviously a winner. Table service is pretty good. The ambiance is hard to beat.
