Tiznit or Tiznet (Arabic: تزنيت, Berber languages: ⵜⵉⵣⵏⵉⵜ) is a town in the southern Moroccan region of Souss-Massa, founded in 1881 by the sultan Hassan I. It is the capital of Tiznit Province and recorded a population of 74,699 in the 2014 Moroccan census. Jewish silversmiths moved into the town and established its reputation as the center of silver and silver handicraft in Morocco. Tiznit is well known for its silver jewelry, mint, daggers and sabres.

I had the chicken and lemon tagine and my husband the vegetable. Both delicious and very reasonable. We tried to eat here other nights but we were too early to eat at 7pm.

We three guys arrived in Tiznet late afternoon and after checking into Hotel Paris for a siesta and research into TA restaurants we chose this establishment as it seemed the only decent place in town, even without wine.
We ventured out at 17:00hrs in search of the restaurant, square, old mosque and anything else local at dusk.
We tried to find the restaurant via the busy 'road/alley' from the north and eventually, after a false trail down a lurid violet alley seemingly going the right direction, found the correct alleyway going towards the new shopping centre Riad Akchouch (see pictures). We headed left at junctions and maps.me confirmed we were getting closer! We found the blue door at the end of an unusually buttressed wall. Inside was a world apart from the rest of the business! The owner (confirmed as Abdallah later) welcomed us and we explained our intentions to explore more. It was still daylight and nobody else was in the restaurant. He showed us the menu. It looked good enough to be accompanied by something more than fizzy water which he was willing to provide. He showed us to the busy street/alley to the south via a signposted route, through an ancient door that kept the riffraff out of his area. See images from the busy junction.
We explored and returned for 18:40. We were welcomed again but it was still empty! OK we shall stick with our decision and stayed, removing the umbrella over the courtyard table and exposing bougainvillea flowers and figs on the overarching fig tree. Art on the walls, mood music turned on for us, and a candle on the table joined by black and white tapenades with bread slices as an appetiser.
We looked through the menu provided (see image) and chose the chicken, beef and Corbine (Sea Bass) with a variety of accompaniments, roughy MAD80 each, along with some fizzy water.
As the food was freshly prepared there was a reasonable wait to soak up the atmosphere. The dishes arrived and were well sized, presented and tasty. We were all happy with the choices. Nothing needed any more seasoning. The quince was particularly interesting.
Even though we were quite full we thought we would share a chocolate mousse and caramelised apple between us. They were very tasty! The mousse was made with 74% chocolate and the apple was stewed with spices, very tasty.
We were left to finish our meal, no hurry. A few friends of the owner came in but no other diners. In the end we chatted with the waiter about the restaurant and he described how it too 18 months to restore it from an abandoned building and overgrown garden to this impressive enclave of an oasis! In the room there was a pretty ceiling and an obviously restored section. They had opened 18 months before and were getting good reviews as they were certainly different from the norm.
The bill came and we were happy, more £-££ than ££-£££ described. MAD430 in the end including the extra lubrication, see bill in pics. Well worth the effort looking for it.
We chatted as we were leaving, chatting with a friend who was a musician and another friend an organiser of the annual silversmithing festival.
It turned out that Abdallah knew Abdallah the owner of Nomad in Sidi Ifni, so he has someone to aspire to!
As someone said in another review: 'go support them'! They are young entrepreneurs and the future of Morocco and need support.

We've been looking for a place where we could have some vegetarian lunch and somebody recommended the Riad le Lieu. They offered to prepare Couscous and Tajine with vegetables which was both very good for a reasonable price. Also the dessert was very tasty, but almost as expensive as the main dish, but that happens often in Morocco. The ambience of the Riad is just great and I'm sure it's also a perfect place to stay some nights.
100% recommendation

Un déjeuner très copieux avec des matières fraîches et de qualités, un cadre très joli, un service rapide et conviviale. A faire si vous passez par là. De plus il fait auberge, donc vous avez la possibilité de dormir sur place.

Just outside Tiznit - almost at the edge of the town - on the main Agadir road, it's the perfect stop-off for drivers heading between Agadir and 'Le Grand Sud'. Have a bite to eat, fill up with petrol, get essential supplies in the shop (water, stuff for the car..), above all have a rest, sit in the shade and collect your thoughts before driving on. Not expensive. (Lorry drivers stop there.) If they don't have rooms of their own they may be able to advise on where to stay nearby.

We ate in the Amal restaurant as we stayed in the hotel (three days). Everything was consistently fresh, beautifully served and delicious - it's also excellent value and so there was no need to even think about eating elsewhere. Although the restaurant specialises in fish and seafood, there are plenty of other choices to please everyone. Eat here with confidence and enjoy!

Of course I'm not in Morocco to eat Pizza (since I love Tajine and Pastilla so much), but during my holidays I had to make sure also my pizza quote will not be dropped. So I'm very happy, to get a pizza sometimes anyways.
During our stay in Morocco we came through Tiznit two times, after the great experience of the pizza on the first time, we stopped here to get pizza also on the second time.
Although they do have many other very good looking things, I can only talk about the pizza.
But this was just delicous, crispy bottom and soft inside, just the way I like it so much.
So my recommendation: if you're in Tiznit, you should definitely have a break here.
Thanks to the team from Tiznit Pizza, keep on the great work!

Rapport qualité/prix imbattable, service rapide et efficace. Leurs tajines sont excellents (35 dh) et leurs grillades également (entre 30 et 45 dh). De plus, ils ont un espace salon de thé avec des pâtisseries excellentes.
