This holy temple is located absolutely on the bank of river Ganges & gets extremely crowded during Navaratri festival (September-October).
The devotees need to be careful about the touts who self proclaim as Agents for the Goddess Durga. It is considered as one of the Sati Peethas since the back of Goddess Sati is believed to have fallen at this place.

We provide guided tour of chunar fort and chunar town, chunar is 20 minutes drive from Varanasi
The Chunar Fort is located in Mirzapur district. Along with Chunar town, situated below the fort, the two are historic places with common history and legends. It is located 23 km south west of Varanasi. The southeastern part of the fort is on the rocky bank of the Ganges River. The Chunar Fort was established by Maharaja Vikramaditya, the King of Ujjain, in honour of the stay of his brother Raja Bharthari. It is believed that Raja Bharthari left his body and took Mahasamadhi at this fort.A servant disciple is still taking care of the place and offers deepam dhupam to the Raja everyday. After seeing the fort the history related to it become refresh.

Rameshwar Mahadev Temple is located on Gaya Ghat in Vindhyanchal .It is approx-imately one kilometer from Vindyavasini Devi Temple and eight kilometers from Mirzapur. The temple is situated in the middle of two other temples dedicated to Vindhyavasini Devi and Ashatbhuja Devi. The three temples together constitute Mahatrikone—the great triangle. All people consider it an auspicious act to walk around the three temples as part of a ritual that is called Triloka Parikrama.

As far as temple, goddess it is powerful. But entire vindhyachal is money minded. But after going there we shouldn't care for those things. Here if we take coconut it will be broken and entire water is poured in the mouth of maa kali . and i was learned that maa opened mouth to drink the blood of raktabeja and it ends at patala.

Ashtabhuja Devi Temple is a lovely temple, situated at the top of Vindhya Mountain. The surrounding is very peaceful and you get good view of river Ganges. It is believed that the visit to Vindhyavasini Devi , Ashtabhuja Devi (form of Goddess Mahasaraswati) and the Kali khoh temple, dedicated to Goddess Kali (2 km from Vindhyavasini temple) form the Trikon Parikrama yatra.
