If you plan to visit, it should be at night, for minimum 2 hours. There are a lot of light decorations on trees, ground and sculptures. Most of them are beautifully executed, unique and attractive. It is the largest illuminated garden that I ever visited. Worth walking around every corner. You will be really amazed by different colours.

Compared to neighboring attractions like Nami Island and The Garden of Morning Calm, this village is small and can be toured in 1-2 hours. It is worth the visit if you're in the area and you're a K-Drama fan.
"My Love from the Star" is on top of my K-Drama list so this place is a must-visit for me.
3 TIPS WHEN VISITING:
1. Come in the late afternoon so you can enjoy views of both the daytime and the nighttime. The colorful lights at night are magnificent!
2. This area tend to be crowded, be smart or devious when taking photos so you don't have a lot of other people in the background.
3. Bring snacks. There is an area for food that overlooks a good view.

Cheongpyeong Lake was the result of constructing a dam. While the area is pleasant enough, visitors to the lake are usually not there for the scenery alone. This area of Korea is well-known for Water Sports. At Cheongpyeong Lake you can water-ski, jet-ski, banana boat, knee-board, and more.
Spending half a day here in Summer was great. The water was cold, but refreshing. I tended to get wet a lot because of my lack of skill on anything being pulled by a boat The area is easily accessed from Seoul and may be a great trip for adults who enjoys being in the water. I stayed overnight in the many nearby "pensions" by the lake. Great time with friends.

Railbike? Wow...i can't imagine how to bike half hour...with so many people there. We start at 4 pm,and it was raining...2 or 4 people in 1 bike..and it was really fun.. Seeing beautiful sceneries, entering the beautiful tunnels...up and downhills..and also quite tiring.

This museum was different from traditional art museum. This museum's work of art was react from some act by sound, touch, motion. The fee of entrance was a little higher than I think. The exhibits was interesting by new art performance. I individually like this type museum that was different traditional form.

서울에서 별로 멀지 않은 곳으로 편하게 공기좋은 곳에서 쉬기 좋은 곳입니다. 예약만 좀더 수월하게 할 수 있었으면 좋겠어요~~

An hour or so drive out of Seoul, turn right at Gapyeong and follow the road, look to the left. Small and u assuming site, the stones, plaques and memorials briefly explain the battles in the local area and Canada's involvement. A larger USA memorial is a few hundred metres away and a AussieNZ memorial farther up the road. The hills and terrain really show how hard it must have been for all UN troops.
Note you can continue driving along the road with some turns to get to Sokcho, no need to backtrack.
Try to avoid the outhouse.
