The original city was relaid out on a gridiron plan by Hippodamus in the mid-C5th bce, although that is little in evidence now (Priene is a much better example). The theatre survives quite well with some interesting reliefs. Sadly, most of the other structures in the city are ruinous. However, worth visiting for the theatre alone.

This was once an important religious site of ancient Ionia and home to a large Temple of Apollo.
We booked this temple of Apollo tour over Ephesus and very glad that we did! We had the entire complex to ourselves. There is a great history here and it is well worth a visit. The surrounding areas are quite nice too with some shops and places to eat.

What a great place for all types of families, wether families with young children who can feel safe in the shallow warm water or older families which can just relax in the sun on the soft golden sand. All the amenities are close to the beach and there are vendors walking the beach with snacks and refreshments so there is no need to leave the beach..
It is a very long beach and quite wide. It don't have a tide as such and the water is very shallow for a very long way out so is perfect for everybody. It's a must to visit and spend time there.

I've been coming to Manastir for almost 10 years and it still holds its beauty for me.
Yes, now they have some sunbeds and a small cafe and that's just an improvement.
Much quieter than the main Beaches mainly due to the dirt road to reach it and I'm sure when the new hotel is built the roads will be more accessible.
My boys love it because there's lots of waves for jumping over!

We have used this firm 3 years running, this year we hired a car for 10 days at £180 and we had planned to travel 400km, we asked them if the oil/water had been checked, we were promised it was all fine and had been recently serviced, we filled up the car with petrol, and checked under the bonnet, WATER WAS ON MIN, NO WINDSCREEN WASH AT ALL, WORST NO OIL WE HAD TO PUT A LITRE IN THE ENGINE, we believe if we had not done so the engine would have blown up on our 400km, it almost feels like that was there plan so they could charge us for a new engine/car!
when we returned the car half a day early to get our transfer with them our bags were loaded into the transfer bus, then the manager ran out towards us with approx 3 staff he got right up in my face shouting where is my petrol! we had returned the car with approx 1/4 of a tank less then we took it with, we however had filled there car with oil/water/windscreen wash. the manager then refused to take us to airport and called the police on us! they arrive and were not interested and left, we then called a taxi and the manager stopped the taxi driver taken us, they tried to make us miss our flights and blackmailed us for £20 plus the fare up front, we gave in and made the check in with barely 5 mins to spare.

At our shopping, the cashier girl gave us a discounted-ticket of the water-park.Took the dolums bus to get there and spent all day there. Some slides did not work, but the pools were good.Prices of drinks and burgers were very expensive, and better eat well before you go there as they do not allow food from outside. The facilites for little children are very poor, and the photographers hassle a lot inside to take your pictures.
