Absolutely stunning wee beach. Very clean Lots of sand to let the kids/ animals have some freedom Plenty of rockpools to explore I could literally spend hours people watching and exploring on this beach.

As I'm not a golfer I can't comment on the course, only to say it is in a stunning location overlooking the sea. Went for Sunday lunch and was pleasantly surprised. A short menu and a specials board. 3 of us opted for the lamb...MoreThanks will pass on your comments. We are very lucky with the view we have.

What an amazing place, Findlater Castle was a highlight of our holiday exploring Scotland, crumbling castle remains set in the most picturesque rocky coast line with clear waters below.
The footpath is small to the castle and there are treachourous drops descending the the sea below, decent footwear and plenty of caution needed, definately unsuitable for small children.
The scenery is amazing, had it not have been a sunny dry day I'm not sure we'd have chanced going to the ruins and the cove below but I'm glad we did.

A good Boxing Day walk up The Bin to try and get rid of the Christmas calories from the day before.
This time we approached from a southern direction, from Cullen to Lintmill, initially along the B9018, turning off west before the Deskford Garden Galleries entrance. This then takes you to a small car parking area at the beginning of a shorter walk to the summit (shorter than our previous approach which was from the north of The Bin heading south towards it).
A lovely meandering path through the wood takes you to the summit for an excellent 360 degree view of the surrounding countryside and North Sea. Quite a few people walking their dogs and some cyclists.
The only issue again was litter being left by people, including dog poo bags. The summit's viewing point is still broken.
Easily up and down in 1.5 hrs.

Interesting piece of local history, where a local man Stephen Findlay has created, out of a piece of wasteland, a unique resting place for beloved pets of all types.
You can walk round, at anytime and view the various headstones and markers. Only a small place and most of it has been hand built over the years.

The Cullen Sea School is a warm, welcoming place to enjoy all types of water based activities and make new friends along the way. You don’t have to be a member to enjoy all what it offers although membership does offer you discounts for all the activities and courses run all year round. We offer traditional boatbuilding, coastal rowing, sailing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding.
Welcoming and well run kayaking experience. Took our two boys for a introductory session and had an amazing time. The instructors were experienced and very friendly, introducing basic techniques while making it fun and keeping the children entertained with games and challenges and fun for...MoreThank you very much for your review. We look forward to seeing you back again in 2018.

We asked Geraldine to do some paper cuttings of local places to go on the walls of our accommodation. They were exactly what we wanted and will be going back for more, absolutely over the moon with them.
