This park is in the center of the town. It's quite huge with lots of lakes (you can feed the fat fish there), banches, stalls with food, little toys for kids... Near the park is a street with loads of restaurants with yummy food.
There's nothing special about this park (in comparison with other parks in Chinese cities), but it's still nice!

This pagoda is in a park called Baita Gongyuan 白塔公园。 The pagoda isn't actually white but kinda pink. The pagoda itself is in nice condition and it's in a big park, where you can play cards, dance with the locals, play some games and ride on some kids merry-go-rounds (or whatever it's called) and that's about it.

This park is quite huge and if I understood it well, it's connected also to the Xishan Gongmu 西山公墓. The entrance fee is 5 yuan. There are loads of attractions like merry-go-rounds, little boats on the pond... And of course the Wanjuan Lou 万卷楼 to which steep stairs lead. It's a really nice view from the top. If I understood it right, in this house Chen Shou wrote his masterpiece "History of the Three Kingdoms".
If you are into costumes - you can rent some and have pictures taken in it right in Wangjuan lou. If you are in Nanchong, I think it's a nice place to go. Especially since the entrance fee isn't that high.

This street located downtown has some local merchandise if you don't want to pay name brand prices. All the clothing and shoes were brands I didn't recognize. So they are obviously made in China. So don't expect big name brand quality. Fruit stands and restaurants also line this street. So it can be a good place to go try local dishes. This place is OK to see once, but it's just a street with some businesses. Nothing special or out of the ordinary.

This street has some shopping and restaurants. it is mainly Chinese brand clothing stores so I have never heard of any of them. They do occasionally have sales if you are fine with Chinese quality. But, ovoid this place on weekends. There are just way too many people here on this street. It is actually hard to move in some places because of all the people walking around here. And one of the idiosyncrasies of Nanchong is spitting. So if you don't want to see or hear people constantly hocking and spitting around you every few minutes, I would avoid this place on the weekend.

This site can a little tricky to find. It is surrounded by modern buildings so pay attention to the signs to find it. I thought it was an OK site for a one time visit. It contained some nice bits of information Zhang Lan, but it is not a large site. So a long visit is not really feasible here.
