This pub offers excellent food, lots of varied eating areas and great atmosphere.
They have a beer garden.
The pizzas are their signature meals...all gourmet and delicious ( I think they are about $20, not sure)
They offer a Tradies Lunch Monday to Friday 12-2pm. $9.90 for a middy and a meal. Can’t go wrong.
There are a rooms upstairs to hire for groups and private functions.
Of course as with most pubs they have trivia nights and comedy nights as well as live bands on the weekend. Close to the railway station.

This beautiful Church is Australia'a only Catholic War memorial Church, built to commemorate the alliance between Australia and the United States during World War II. An annual mass is held on the first Sunday in May(known as Coral Sea Sunday) to honor those who fought in the Battle of the Coral Sea, May4-8, 1942. Flags of both nations flank the altar. The Australian Coat of Arms appears in the rear window and on the gate of the communion rail in the Western Chapel or "Australian Chapel". The Eastern Chapel honors the American Coat of Arms on the rear window and the communion rail gate. The exterior towers bear two plaques commemorating "Australia - American Friendship in War and Peace". There are a number of interesting photos and artifacts in the church. All are welcome to come visit and join in the remembrance to honor those who gave so much. The church is in walking distance of the Beverly Hills Train Station. And is 17 kms south of Sydney Central business district.
One of Sydney's more magnificent suburban churches. Attached to a lovely primary school that 2 of my son's attended

Meridian Hotel is a bit of an local institution in the St George area. From a rocking nightclub a few years ago to its current day sports bar with restaurant. It's located about 5 minutes walk from Hurstville station with ample parking across the road or nearby Treacy St has a free carpark parking after 6pm. I would warn anyone that the staff taking the food order may come across as abrupt or even rude but I find the table waiting staff and bar staff very efficient and polite. So bear with it and i believe you will find the quality of the food and cooking standards quite high for what you pay. I had a surf and turf and the steak was cooked to perfection. My dinner partners had spring rolls and lobster mornay which smelled divine. If you are on a budget are not easily offended or fussy and want to find somewhere to eat in Hurstville why not give this place a go?
