Lanzarote’s largest resort area has much to offer visitors—in addition to the fine beaches, you’ll find casinos, great shopping, and tons of restaurant options. Puerto Del Carmen’s nightclubs and large hotels are a big draw for a youthful European crowd.

This walk is fairly easy and after the initial climb flatish. Lovely views all the way, I eould advise wearing trainers and expect to get dusty legs and feet. Great views of the sea and the volcanic background. You can either walk back or take a water taxi which run regularly.

Experience the Country and Western night at Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park, an evening program full of fun and entertainment for the whole family. Dance with our Saloon Girls, enjoy the fantastic lasso and whip show from ´The Dakotas´ and eat away at our Country BBQ buffet with free drinks (beer, sangria, and soft drinks). Come down and meet Buffalo Bill and his friends for a great night.
In the last 10 years we've been to Lanzarote 3 times & each time we've visited Rancho Texas. We have never been disappointed, the park is fantastic. There is so many animals to see, shows to watch & now they've added the Dolphin attraction which is beautiful & amazing. Lots of photo opportunities, lovely food, friendly & helpful staff just make the park perfect. The pool area just sets it off. If you are visiting Lanzarote, Rancho Texas is a must

I should really give this beach 1 star, but I would only be doing this to deter others so that this could be kept more as a secret........but that would be very mean of me!
This beach is a little gem; There is shelter from surrounding walls, there are toilets, and a footshower to rinse under when you come out of the water, or get the sand of your feet. The toilets could do with some maintenance as they have seen better days, but they do the job.
The sand is perfect.
The water is shallow for quite a distance out, and you are protected by the rock arms which create a little haven of a natural harbour. The marine life is fantastic; I recommend that you get a cheap loaf of "Bimbo" bread and go waist deep into the water......the water will often boil with fish when you throw a few slices near you.
This is the perfect place to snorkel, and you can hire mask and flippers from the diving shop nearby.
There is also a shop next to it where you can buy a Magnum and a coffe!
We love it - we spend most of the day on this beach, just unwinding letting go!
You should give it a try - you will see what I mean.

Situated at the best end of Puerto del Carmen with smarter hotels and apartments and not so busy. Brilliant walks possible along the Promenade and a good cycle track. Plenty of places to stop off. Walks possible all the way to Playa Honda and Arricife. Good regular bus service if you don't want to walk back. Ample toilets which have now been updated.

Like many places in Lanzarote, Puerto del Carmen was originally a small fishing village, and the old harbour is still a delightful place to visit, boasting some excellent bars, restaurants and excursions running out of the harbour.
My wife and mother in law wanted to visit the old town harbour as there was a market so we booked a taxi to drop us off
The stalls were not that good same type of tourist crap you can buy anywhere, the harbour is just across the road and in my opinion not that good not may paces to eat or have a drink not many boats to look at no million dollar boats
Only stayed for about an hour and went home
