Great beer, nice live music. On summer you can sit outside and enjoy some fresh air, considering that on the inside is quite small and packet with people - more, as everywhere in Bosnia, you will be welcomed by a thick cloud of smoke, since smoking in public places is not only legal but customary. As everything in Zenica, very cheap - and a little hard to find.

Castle on the hill, with great view of the area, we were there on a weekday and were the only visitors at the castle, and so we were able to sit with the two of the staff and ask questions about the castle and learn more Bosnian history, well worth a visit if you are anywhere close to Zenica.

The Zenica City Museum has an archeology, ethnology and numismatic section together with a big archive that can be accessed for research. Some of its space is reserved for photography and art Exhibitions so one can always find something interesting on the ground floor.
There are several interesting artifacts, one of them a camera that was used during the trial of Gavrilo Princip, the assassin of Austro-Hungarian Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie in Sarajevo which triggered the First World War in 1914.
They provide guided tours for groups that schedule in advance.
The price of admission is rather symbolic - 3 KM/1.5 EUR.

Since Zenica is an industrial city, its workers rely on the city's sports clubs to provide needed entertainment and passion in their lives. One of those places is the "Bilino polje" stadium, home of the NK Čelik Zenica (football/soccer club) and the Bosnian national football team.
Built in 1971, it is the best stadium in the country which can roughly accommodate around 14.000 spectators and it is always full when the national team plays. Although it still does not have an official museum or a fanshop, they do accept groups for a stadium tour that call in advance or you can ask the guard to show you around for a small tip.
Its name derives from the field it is built on - "Bilin's field", where in 1203, the ruler of Bosnia, Kulin Ban, signed the famous "abjuration" with the representatives from the Vatican. There is a small park next to the stadium that commemorates this occasion.
The home-games of NK Čelik Zenica, the city's proud football/soccer club, are usually played on Saturday afternoons/evenings and tickets are readily available, ranging from 2 to 6 KM (1 to 3 EUR) per person. When the national team plays, it is very difficult to get tickets since they usually sell out days before. You can find them on the black market from the sellers around the stadium for some 30 to 100 KM (15 to 50 EUR), depending on the match importance. Either way, the atmosphere is always great and football/soccer fans should definitely visit!
This is the true heart of the city and one of its symbols, definitely visit it when Čelik plays a home match (cca. 2 hours) or ask the guard to show you around for a small tip (cca. 30 minutes)!
