You should pick your day based on what your want to experience:
- If you are looking for architecture (interior specially) & history you may want to plan for a weekday. Do not go on a Sunday because of the service, the interior room are jam packed and it will be difficult to explore the stained glass windows which depict the life of Christ.
- If you are looking for the prayers and performance by the school kids may be Sunday is the day for you. The church is full with visitors and you may get to some performance from the local school children as well.
Overall the place is pretty well maintained and beautiful. A must go if you have not seen large churches in Europe.

Medak Fort

This place works well for a short trip from Hyderabad. 80km (about 2 hours) ride. Good roads, short hike up to the top, panoramic view of the town, the fort walls and different gates as you keep going in and up. This place is for the people who love history of architecture, bird watchers, photographers with telephoto lens and for someone who just wants to stare at the expanse, for those want to witness sunrise and sunset.

The road which goes to the Reservoir is pathetic, they should really work on it given the number of travellers who visit this place. Nothing great about the place, go visit only if you have free time.

Goddes Saraswathi is the consort of Lord Brahma, who is said to be the Creator. There are a very few temples dedicated to Goddess Saraswathi in India. In Telangana, after Basar in Adilabad District, this temple at Vargal is very famous.
This temple is located on a hillock near Wargal village. On the same hillock are the temples of various other deities, such as:

Sri Vidya Saraswathi temple is famous for performing "Learning Ceremony" which is called as Children's Akshara abyasam. Free meals are provided to all devotees at the temple premises, under Nitya Annadanam scheme.
The nine days festival "Navarathri" which occurs in the month of September/October and Vasantha Panchami in the month of Magha (February) are celebrated in a grand way, at the temple every year.
In Navratri festival, Mula Nakshatram, the Birth star of Goddess Saraswati, is the most auspicious day for worshiping Saraswati devi. During this day, special rituals are performed at the temple. We visited this temple on this day which fell on 28th September 2017. We were very much impressed, the way the Pooja was performed and it was the highlight of the day.

We had a dip in the holy Gundam at exactly 12.00 noon and later performed Abhisekhan to Lord Siva. Though, in a remote place, many pilgrims from Karnataka and Maharashtra pay visit to this temple and offer prayers to Lord Siva. We are blessed with our visit to this temple on 5th October 2017.
