Had a great time in Tokoname exploring the pottery for which that region is famous. Would recommend shipping or carrying on any purchases made. One item in one checked in bag broke. Many others were fine with carry-on. Also highly recommend the little udon noodle shop in town.....don't know the name unfortunately!

Lovely deck of the Centrair with amazing location and great view of the planes. Came here the night before I need to catch my fright at Centrair and have amazing time watching the plane, the sky and the amazing story telling display at the desk. So good place to good before your fright. I came here at mid-November, so the desk was quite windy at night.

This is really a huge shopping mall with a wide variety of specialty stores and a big food court too.
Very spacious and well appointed with nice toilets. It could easily take several hours to walk through the entire mall. There is a large supermarket at one end and even some car showrooms at the other end.

Part of this town has been kept in a very old style where the roads are tiny, and you walk around to see the various kilns and pottery makers. Sweet and enjoyable with a couple cafes in between. I really enjoyed it! Some tiny boutiques too!

When you passed airport information counters, a warm greeting with a smile definitely makes your day!
Recently I have 5 hours to wait till my next connecting flight, went to info counter and was guided on what I can do. The receptionist recommended that I can go to Aeon Mall nearby either by subway or free shuttle service. Guided me with all the details and it was a joy to be out walking around the Mall rather stuck in airport.
Due to upcomign Christmas, there was a live concert by the schools which makes the atmosphere so festively.
Overall, it was one of the cleanliness airport.

Most impressive stop along the Pottery Path in Tokoname. Not to be missed if you love pottery making. You can imagine making beautiful wood fired pieces in the ancient way as you peer into these old kilns. Worth the hike.

the signs are non existence, you have to walk to a small path across it to access the bridge to it. As it faces the road and its on the edge of the slope, you can't really manage to take a pic next to it with it or take a pic of its front.

We took the train from Nagoya to Tokoname to visit the Pottery Path. This was a good start with information and fun little souvenirs to our walk.
