Vista Paraiso - Day Tours and Activities

The programs hosted at Vista Paraiso are recommended by all major hotels in Punta Mita. You will be amazed with unique experiences, pampered with our service and take home unforgettable memories.

We noticed on their brochure that they provide a guided hike up to the top of the nearest peak. We decided to go, and couldn't be happier with our decision. Erick was our guide, and he was incredible. I have travelled all over the world, and he truly stands out as one the best I've ever had. His passion for (and knowledge of!) the community, the nature, the landscape, and the animals was fantastic. I would come back to Punta Mita PURELY to be able to hike with him again in new and different locations. You won't regret your time with Erick. Nor will you ever forget the views when you get to the top!
PS... it was about 90 minutes up and 60 minutes back down. I would call it moderately strenuous, but not bad at all.

We found Lenny's flyer in San Pancho and decided to take a break form the beach to journey into the countryside. We could not have been more thrilled with this experience. Lenny was very personal, friendly and accommodating. The horses were well manured and well trained. The ride took us through the back country on a trail that weaved past farms, lakes and through creeks. It was so nice to experience the jungle and to gallop on the beach. Lenny also bought us some beers and a great lunch. This tour is a must do in Lo De Marcos and Sand Pancho region, you won't be disappointed and in fact could be missing out if you don't do this. Thanks Lenny

Playa San Pancho

A beach everyone would hope they could find one day, or evening.
Fine, and golden sand, rustic shore-line, and flat enough for all families and ages.
Environmentally ideal, as there are few people enjoying it ---so far!
Yet, food and beverages are not far away. Beach front cantinas and restaurants
are reasonably close by. Waves here are spectacular. And there are several areas
having friendly access to the ocean.
This is a "Must-Enjoy!"

Playa los Muertos

Reviewed By MerryTravels11 - San Jose, California

If you are visiting Sayulita, take 10 minutes to walk to the Playa los Muertos. From town you walk along the road that goes south out of town or along the beach and cross through the cemetery. The beach is smaller and there are less people than the main beach. There are umbrellas for rent, but not many vendor. Stay for the day, for a swim or to snorkel near the rocks or just go to see the beach and the cemetery.

Luna Layne

We're Layne & Ricardo - We moved to San Francisco (San Pancho), Nayarit, Mexico in 2012 and opened our shop, Luna Layne, in 2014. We're both passionate about the arts & music of Mexico - and we hope to inspire others who love Mexico and its folk art, textiles, black clay, talavera & more! Our inspiration comes from the cultural aspects of a traditional Mexican home and incorporating into today's lifestyle. We search for unique hand-made items and we work with artisans to bring back old traditions. We even design our own Mexican inspired pieces. (Supporting Mexican indigenes through partnerships.)

Lane, the owner, has excellent taste! She has filled her boutique with high-quality rugs, pillows, throws, and much more for the home. The colors in the shop reflect the richness of Mexico! My partner and I purchased three colorful pillows for our master bedroom and they look just great in our home! Lane designs some of what she sells, and she is a great resource for mixing and matching. When in San Pancho, make sure to drop in to Luna Layne, you can't miss it right on the main street with all of the restaurants and shops.

Tamara, Judy, and Tigre are wonderful people and great guides for playing around San Pancho! The kayaking tour was beautiful and we got to see some other towns in the area that we wouldn't have otherwise visited. The paddleboarding was fantastic with flatwater and waves to choose from, plus some bonus yoga on the boards and Corona's on the beach afterwards. You really couldn't ask for better hosts. Super friendly, engaged, knowledgeable, and tons of fun.

A small weekly outdoor market in San Pancho. It's a great place to grab some local street food, cold fruit drinks, a loaf of yummy olive bread, or a small trinket. Very few fresh market items though. We did grab some great locally grown lettuce. One street over the the center of town and many other shops! The town is pretty quiet and a welcome relief from the more touristy locales.

Sayulita Beach

Reviewed By Kathy K - Ear Falls, Canada

Busy but still fun. Tried our hand at Surfing and rented boards from a couple different establishments. Lots of vendors but they move on quickly with a “no gracias”. Go to the northern part of the beach for a quieter time with calmer surf (better for swimming). I’ve noticed a lot of comments about foul smells, we walked a long span of the beach and we never noticed anything other than normal ocean salty air smells. I think people just like complaining. The beach was clean and vendors and patrons all do their part picking up any stray garbage.
Good times, preferred the quiet northern part but all around a fun beach!

Rancho Manuel

Reviewed By PeakeTravel - Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

We highly recommend Rancho Manuel for horseback riding. We were very impressed by the quality of the horses and Adalberto was very thorough and personable. He asked each of us about our riding level and matched us with the proper horse. The horses were amazing; they were sweet and gentle! Berto took us through a lightly travel street to get to the beach and then up through the jungle to Lovers Beach. The length of the ride was just right for us. Not to short and not too long. He answered all of our questions along the way. What a great guide! Nice view from the top. I left my big camera with our driver but we did take our iPhones and Berto did take pics of us on the trail. They also provide fishing services...next time we'll check that out! Super friendly! There were all adults in our group so it was great to have a cold beer at the end of the trip with Adalberto and his dad. Can't say enough about Rancho Manuel!
It was my husband and myself (we are in our 50's) and our son and his girlfriend (they are 23) - all of us loved it and agreed it was the best thing we did on our vacation and we did many things including atv'ing and ziplining.
