The Monastery was established in the 7th century in the town of Anchialo /The old name of Pomorie/ but was later destroyed during the Ottoman invasion in the late 14th century. At the end of the 17th century, a Turkish administrator, Selim Bey, who according to a legend, was ill with an incurable disease, settled here and built his own farm in the place of the former monastery. One night, Selim Bey dreamt that he found curative water in his yard. On the morning, he started searching for the place and found a marble bas-relief of St. George. Beneath it, the water of his dream sprang out and after he drank from it, he was cured.
The legend further says that after that Selim Bey and his entire family converted to Christianity. The bas relief that he found in the yard is still kept and can be seen in the monastery. Selim Bey also built a small chapel close to the holy spring that laid the foundations of the present-day monastery. After he widowed, Selim Bey became the first father superior of the monastery. The present-day church was built in 1856 over the foundations of the preceding one. The church preserves valuable examples of the iconography art of the 18th and 19th century.

Burgas sea garden is very well kept by the municipality, areas are clean. There are many Fountains and green spaces. Of course the view is beautiful as the sea garden itself is a bit higher than the beach because of the denivelation, I.e. you can see the horizon from high perspective which is very nice.
It feels good to be there. There are not too many restaurants and cafes there.

I'm not sure (as I haven't visited all the churches in Nessebar), but this one is looking the biggest, with some kind of a small churchyard. You have to pay about 6BGN/person to enter. There you can also buy a single ticket for visiting all other churches in Nessebar.
The church itself is ancient and beautiful - have a look at the pics.

This is a beautiful area with some very rustic looking buildings, I had my camera out all day around here because of how nice it was. Word of warning, some shop owners are very rude, in fact its mostly the shop owners that sell Nazi memrobillia that were rude.

Large old town quite separate from the new one with cobbled tree line streets and winding tiny alleys connecting many little roads and churches. Unusual architecture with rough been stone bases and wooden Matchboard upper floors which step out further each level. The place feels authentic with local women selling jams etc made from fruit in their Gardens. There is a street market, a few boards advising on the history, and their EU funded eco-friendly ambition. We spent 3 hours walking round and enjoyed a drink al fresco at one of the many bars on the southern wall

Camel Park Sunny beach is unique in its kind. It is the only one Camel park in Bulgaria and Easter Europe. It is located in only 5 minutes from Nesebar and in 10minutes from Sunny beach. The Camel Park has 12 Camels, they are very friendly !!! This is our biggest ATTRACTION !!! The park has also other animals like: ponies, donkey , rabbits and other interesting bird species.
A privilege to meet these wonderful animals, so happy and well cared for and loved. Wonderful family run environment, lovely family and people also a privilege to have met who cant do enough to please guests. Excellent facilities and everywhere perfectly clean. Safe for babies to the elderly which caters for wheelchairs and pushchairs, with a shaded Seating area. We are a family of animal lovers and always sceptical of such places and tourist attractions but this place, people and animals are worthy of this post. Charming and endearing day out which I could not recommend more highly.

Journey to the end of Ul Professor Stonayov by whatever means you can - walking from the centre will take about 30 minutes along the front from the centre. Pay a man called Karlovo a whopping 2 levs for the freshest, smelliest mud and then either apply it yourself or let Karlovo, self appointed master applicator, do the job. Wait 30 minutes and then dive in the sea. Revitalised and smooth.

It may have been cold and stormy but it the town was wonderfully quaint. Since there were no tourists many stores were not opened but there was enough for us to get a feeling of the town and do some shopping. At a small antique store I got some good prices on copper items and had a great time at the Ji'votnoto Gallery. We visited a local museum which to be honest wasn't much just a few display cases with some items of clothing and home tools. The streets were wonderful to roam around even though there was a bit of work being done on them . Definitely a place to spend some leisurely time especially off season.

We offer a great possibility to ride some of the greatest water sports in our base in Ravda: wakeboard, flyboard & windsurf. The experience is unbeatable by any other water sports. All sports are suitable to children and grown ups. We offer professional instructors, equipment and a great adrenaline rush!
Ravda is a small, but still growing seaside resort on the Black Sea within Nesebar municipality, Burgas Province, It is situated 3 kilometers south from Nessebar and 3 kilometers north from Sunny Beach. The nearest airport is located 30 kilometers south, in Burgas. The villages population is about 2000 people.
Ravda’s main advantage is its location – close to the attractive resorts like Sunny Beach or Nessebar. There are regular lines to Nessebar’s old town (every 20-30 minutes) or to Sunny Beach. Also Aqua Park in Nessebar is very close (about 2 kilometers).
It is also possible to walk to Nessebar – the street is goes straight ahead. We often walked to Nessebar and then came back by bus in the evening. One way bus ticket from Nessebar to Ravda was about 1,20 leva.
Beaches in Ravda (e.g. Olimpiyski Nadyezhdi – Olympic Beach) are also very nice – wide and long. There are free zones and areas with payable umbrellas and deckchairs. The Beaches are lifeguarded. Sand is fine and gold and water in the sea is quite warm. After storms seaweeds may appear on the beach, which is little unpleasant (also because of the smell).
There are many water sports activities offered to the tourist – diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, yachting, jet skiing.
Ravda is considered as a holiday destination for families and young people, where the prices are affordable. Though here we can find many family hotels, rooms for rent, guest houses. There are also summer houses belonging to Bulgarians coming here for holidays.
The resort is quiet and calm during a day (most of people spend time on the beach) but in the evenings streets become really crowdy. There are a lot of restaurants (e.g. Sea Boulevard, Koraba, Ravda Avenue), pubs and bars (e.g Zlatna Ribka, Castello, Coctail Bar Hawaii) and discos where tourists can spend evenings.
There are also a lot of shops with souvenirs. Prices are little lower than in Nessebar.
The location of Ravda makes it a good starting point for trips. There are several local travel agencies organizing trips to nearer (e.g. Nessebar) or farer (e.g. Sofia, Plovdiv, Istanbul) destinations.

We missed the free bus that passed our hotel, so I Facebook messaged the park asking when the next bus was. They then sent a bus especially for us free of charge. The Water Park was great fun would definitely return.
