I just want to explain very fast my case because I think it could help someone.
Five years ago I had a hard motorbike accident, I was really lucky because I didnt break my neck and apparently from outside it wasnt so big, but inside all my upper body musculoskeletal system went to something as chronic sock.
Since then I have tried a lot of technics and I must say I went to the Kung Fu retreat quite well but still with chronic pain in my back, chest and neck.
I have spent six weeks training Kung fu and Chi Kung in Nam Yang and now after one week of rest I can say I feel better than ever, my pain is very close to dissapear, my muscles went out of sock and they have more energy and elasticity than ever in my life.
Definitely Nam Yang is a place where you can change your life if you really want.
Thank you very much Master Iain and instructors for the input of knowledge and energy to apply it you are giving to the world.
We will see again soon.
Carlos.

I love Martial Arts and when I came to Thailand I thought why not learn Muay Thai at the source. Charn Chai was recommended to me by a friend, my first month was in October 2016 and I returned for another month in March 2017. Fantastic place to train! Kerry-Ann is amazing in providing information and organizing everything, patient and super kind! Bee, her husband is great, not only does he posses the skills, but he also knows how to manage a big group of people. The trainers -without an exception are very capable, disciplined and fun! I was dying for a proper workout and I got it every day! My knee injuries are holding me back in many ways but the trainers always found a way to kill me in training anyway and I learned so much. I wanted to write a review a while back but didn't know how I can justify writing "the best gym in Thailand" but now I actually trained elsewhere (Phuket) and I can say with conviction: Charn Chai is the best place to learn Muay Thai in Thailand and to get the workout you are looking for! A great trainer is not just an ex-champion but also a leader with people management- and organizational skills- and that you all get at Charn Chai. I hope to be back one day and thank everyone at Charn Chai for their commitment and patience!

This is an amazing place to visit. I enjoyed the walk around the landsplit but the most amazing part was the people working there. They were so friendly, helpful and their hospitality were out of this world. I will definitely come back.
Its all donation based. You pay what you want and can. They will serve you with a smile if you donate 1 baht or 1000. They have the most amazing beverages and snacks.

We spent the night at the park and had a fantastic time. Dave, the owner is very friendly and helpful. Everything you need is there (fishing wise). As it is low season, only breakfast was being served, so we had to bring our own food up, but this was no problem as we had a kitchenette in the room. Beers were also available for purchase.
During our time fishing (about 7 hours or so) we caught about a dozen fish including three piranhas. A wonderful experience!

Went here about an hour before sunset. Should have gone there a couple of hours before to get a really sweet spot. Dont get me wrong the sunset will be amazing either way. But its crowded with tourists. Be careful there are very steep and high climbs from time to t i me. You really dont wanna fall, and its possible to do so if not cautious.
Would recommend going here at least one time when youre in pai. Its free too.

We came here in December so it was very dry but it was definitely worth riding here and spending a couple of hours walking along the bamboo bridge watching the water buffaloes and being in a quiet peaceful location. There is a coffee shop near the start of the bridge that sells nice iced coffee and fresh juices. I'd love to come back when the rice is growing to see how different it looks. But whatever the season it is worth the trip out here if you have a scooter!

Sai Ngam Hot Spring

Reviewed By TJ J

BE PREPARED TO PAY TWICE! We paid 20B each to enter the national park and 20B for scooter parking, once we got to the hot spring we had to pay an additional 20B each to get in. There is seemingly no reason for this other than taking money from tourists. Not a big deal as it is a 10th of the price of the main hot Springs but just a weird way of doing things.
The spring itself was really nice, the water was hot and there are bamboo changing rooms you can use for free. It’s worth getting up early to avoid the crowds, we arrived at 10 and left at 12 just as tour buses started to arrive meaning it was pretty peaceful when we were in there.
The road from the national park entrance to the Springs was very steep, sometimes bordering on vertical. If you’re not 100% confident on a scooter it might be worth getting a taxi. Even if you are, be prepared to get some momentum up on the downhill straights, you’ll need them to get back up the other side, especially if you’re on a cheaper 115cc bike.
