Dineresque location with a small breakfast menu with everything under 4 bucks. Breakfast special of house hashbrowns, eggs, ham, and rye bread for 2.99. Service was fast and efficient while still pleasant. Price points below or at the fast food joints and all four of our plates were prepared correctly and came out hot. Hot spot for the locals and I can certainly see why. Fresh pressed Apple juice was a plus. While this isn't a foodies playground, it is deserving of a five star for what it is. I would recommend trying and will visit again in the future.

We serve traditional Japanese food cooked with traditional ingredients and cooking methods. We serve Kansai cooking flavours. We are not an Asian fusion place so please do your research before you come to our sushi Izakaya. If you are looking for Western Asian food, please go to Vernon or another establishment.
I have enjoyed this dish many times and the best is still at Tanuki. Tender salmon, hint of avocado, just enough heat from the jalapeños and warm rice make for a delicious lunch paired with an Ebi Sunomo salad. Service is courteous and efficient. Atmosphere is relaxing.

Ordered take out, when we arrived to pick up the restaurant has great atmosphere, I would like to eat in next time. We order the dinner for eight wow more like for ten. The food was very good vegetables were crisp and the dishes were flavourful. Definitely would eat here again!

A great family run small restaurant nestled right in downtown Armstrong BC. Very friendly staff, Chef Wayne Tucker, owner and red seal chef periodically comes out to make sure your food is the best that it can be. A place where the servers get to know the customers.

Tucker's Restaurant specializes in comfort food, burgers and classic lunch items. Tucker's Restaurant also has a large breakfast menu with something to please anyone. Their Signature Stuffed Hash browns are a specialty of Chef Wayne's. Tucker's Restaurant ltd also offers a broad range of gluten friendly dishes and vegetarian options.

A wonderful place to have a great meal.

A little bit about the Chef.

Chef Wayne had a dream to open his own restaurant. In 2011 he fulfilled that dream and started Tucker's Restaurant Ltd in Armstrong BC. He is the loving husband to his wife and business partner Jennifer Tucker and they have 1 daughter Emma Grace Tucker, who was born with a terminal neurodegenerative disease called Canavan Disease. She passed away when she was 4 1/2 (on December 19, 2016) and Chef Wayne chose to remain open and serve the community that supported him and his wife.
We have eaten at Tuckers a couple times for breakfast and once for lunch. All have been excellent. The restaurant is tucked away along side street in Armstrong. Prices are very reasonable and food selection is fine. Staff is very friendly. Will go again for sure!!

Anchors Inn is a staple for our golf group. We head there on Wednesdays after our round for a pitcher of beer and supper. Numerous TV's with sports; good selection of beer on tap, and pretty good food.

Having just taken our grand daughters to DQ for dinner, we shall never again go to the Armstrong location. The restaurant was extremely dirty, the bathroom were absolutely filthy and our order was mediocre at best. This location had definitely taken a dive. The only think happy about our dining experience were the 2 dozen or so flys , buzzing around while you tried to eat. Never again !

Our Mission at The Wild Oak Cafe is to create a nourishing atmosphere where our community can gather and feel at home and inspired! We aim to source our ingredients locally and organically as often as possible as well as supporting sustainable farms with whom we maintain an honest, friendly and passionate relationship. We specialize in vegetarian cuisine because we believe in vegetables and strive to use only healthy, locally sourced meat... We include local pasture raised Chicken and Pork in our daily menu and are proud to have it on our menu! It is very important to us to know where our food is coming from and how it is grown, who we are supporting and why! We are very passionate about nutritious, spirited cooking and we relish in our love for amazing coffee and scrumptious treats! We hope to transform your ordinary morning coffee break into something extraordinary in experience! The Wild Oak will also be host to live music, art shows and special events and is a million trillion percent family friendly!
Well worth a detour off Highway 97A, first exit heading north from Vernon. A little gem of a cafe with fresh raspberry infused water in their water jug, local, in-season ingredients in the salads and sandwiches. All day breakfast also offered. A natural, authentic experience - great food, excellent service and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. There's even a book shelf with children's books.
